“Imma be on the next level. Imma be rockin' over that bass treble. Imma be chillin' with my mutha mutha crew. Imma be makin' all them deals you wanna do.”
Last year, The Black Eyed Peas ruled my singles list with their smash hit I Gotta Feeling, this time they only managed to chart this high with the combo-single from that same album for Imma Be Rocking That Body. It's a clever idea to merge two singles into one music video, the result one good futuristic video for all of us. I love these two singles from The E.N.D. and I'm satisfied enough to have these singles released. Imma Be also managed to add another #1 hit for The Peas last year making it 3 under their belt. So far, their latest album is way too far of a comparison from The E.N.D. era with regards to the success but I'm really hoping they would give us another smash hit in the future just like this single.
40. Miranda Cosgrove “Kissin' U”
“Cause when I'm kissin you my senses come alive, almost like the puzzle piece I've been trying to find. Falls right into place you're all that it takes, my doubts fade away when I'm kissing you.”
One of the songs I'm really surprised to like last year is Kissin' U by Miranda Cosgrove. The lyrics and the tune really amuses me every time I want to hear this song, makes you wanna fall in love whenever you hear it or just wanna smile. I really like this song a lot, simple and cute, I will never get tired listening to this. Miranda Cosgrove got my heart thanks to this song and I will definitely look forward to more songs similar to Kissin' U.
39. Ke$ha “We R Who We R”
“Tonight we're going hard, just like the world is ours... We're tearin' it apart. You know we're superstars, we are who we are...”
Ke$ha is one of those new comer that makes 2010 great for music. Before the year ended, she managed to release another album that is really similar to her debut effort. The first single from Cannibal, We R Who We R is definitely one insane and addictive track and it helped Ke$ha to score another #1 hit in the U.S. This song is one of my current favorites and I really like dancing to this song. Don't care about her vocals but Ke$ha surely delivered another great tune with her unique style. Expect more Ke$ha from the next updates as she has more songs on the way.
