I think it means showing very brief glimpses of the video. This has happened to Me & U quite a few times, it seems....

Today's countdown was just ridiculous. The only thing I'm happy about is SexyBack's #1 position. But, the way I see it, Jessica should not be in the top 2, let alone the countdown. Aly & AJ need to cut it with the miracles, because everytime they fall, they just get right back up again. The two songs I wanted to falloff so badly finally did (Invisible and Me & U), but now they just come back on?! I understand Cassie returning, since her debut album just got released, but who the heck is voting for Ashlee? JoJo fell off!!! That's one of the only listenable songs on the c/d right now! JoJo and P!ATD should have gained spots, and Jesse McCartney should have fallen off...

Tomorrow, Evanescence should debut and JoJo should return. Those songs might actually make the c/d bearable!

I don't want to be the one to give you that smart ass comment, so I'll say this as reasonably as I can: the same can be said about sports teams, the stock market, politics and reality shows. The world's competitive, and that's just the way it is. If everybody got along, nothing would change. That's kind of a big stretch from something as minimal as TRL, but all opinions are challenged.

With Step Up being released this Friday, does anybody think that (When You Gonna) Give It Up To Me or Get Up have any chance of returning?

I think a reason that Evanescence did not make the countdown today is because the idiots at MTV.com have them below Daddy Yankee and above Dashboard Confessional. I almost did not vote for them since I couldn't find them above Fergie and thought that they did not add them. I went through once more and found them. But yea. That could be a reason why they did not get as many votes as anticipated.

Thats not really a good point. The voters would look for them. They wouldn't not find it and go, "WTF??? Are my eyes deceiving me???" and then think they can't vote for them. Besides, this is not the first time this happened.
