anyhow, it's about damned time that gaga got exposed.
hope others follow sharons path to get things straight in some delusional minds.

I'm sorry, but what you said was beyond the point of hypocrisy. She isn't their parental guardian. And if it is immature 6-12 year olds doing it, then maybe it comes down to the parents that raised them and monitor their internet usage. Once again, Gaga can't do that.

GOOD. Go Sharon, I wouldn't stand by and let my daughter be publicly attacked like that either.

What Gaga can do is tell her fans to stop attacking and wishing death threats on people, monsters are undeniably the worst for that and for her to completely look over that and instead publicly attack Kelly for doing something which is nowhere near the same level is pathetic. Not to mention the fact that Gaga probably wouldnt still be here if it wasnt for her 'fashion' that she needs people to talk about and criticize to stay relevant.

Not that it matters, it's only twitter and most of these fans are probably bullied by themself but it shows for me if you get mistreated your respond is not better, at least if you are young.

It amazes me how some of you believe that Gaga's open letter to Kelly's public criticism is some kind of invitation to her fans to continue to send her inappropriate remarks. I continue to wonder how much this stan sub-culture has an effect on the lives of those that choose to dedicate so much energy and anger to something as unimportant as a pop music star.

I completely agree with you on how Gaga should have addressed the issue of her fans bullying instead of making excuses. I don't agree with you on how her fashion makes her relevant, she would honestly be successful without it.

She didnt condone it but she said nothing against it, which is what people have a problem with. Instead of responding to Kellys comment she basically said 'you're not allowed to be insulted because you work on a tv show that insults peoples fashion'. If she wasn't going to respond to the actual issue Kelly had, she should have done nothing instead of trying to get some publicity.

No doubt about it but like I said yesterday, one of the main things people think when they think of Gaga is 'she wears weird clothes'.

Dear Lord, she has done it already. How many times has Britney and Madonna told their fans to stop sending Gaga death threats and inappropriate remarks to her twitter account. It freaking makes me mad how one freaking sided this whole crap is. This internet phenomenon isn't inclusive to Gaga fans for crying out loud. It's an internet phenomenon that includes people of all ages from all walks of life that take advantage of the fact that they have complete anonymity and can get away with it. Plus add the already messed up world of pop artist staning and you get this type of issue. People who single out one group are just as irresponsible and naive as the perpetrators.

Some of you will trash Gaga even if she finds a cure for AIDS. She just can't win. I'm glad she stood up for herself and her fans.

Of course they do, no doubt in my mind. But you said before that she needs it to stay relevant.

Fashion makes her more successful because she doesn't have the standard beauty formula of a popstar (especially for a white girl.) She can hide behind costumes and masks and still make sexy dance songs.

She DID said something against it, oh God, I can't with you not even reading Gaga's letter.

But you're missing the point completely: Britney and Madonna have never (to my knowledge) sent a public letter like that. Gaga shouldn't have to talk for her fans, but if she's going to respond she needs to actually respond to the issue instead of pulling something like this.

This doesnt mean that I like Sharons impulsive response tho (which is also making the whole thing much worse). But she had some good argumets.

It's Lady Gaga's fans that started this. And I say this as a Monster myself.
I watched the majority of fans asking 'where the ****' Gaga was and that the 'bitch' is rude for not showing up on the carpet.
Kelly said the same and fans crucified her. Now those very people are mad at Sharon for responding? It's their fault.
Don't believe me? 2013 will prove me right when Gaga fans are dragging your faves waist lines.

A sentence in an essay attacking Kelly doesn't count. I'm not attacking Gaga I'm just stating my opinion, if she wanted to address the issue she should have, instead of turning it around on Kelly and telling her she took the wrong path or whatever. So tacky. But whatever, obviously only the only opinions allowed here are ones pro-Gaga so bye girls.
