Scots music star Emeli Sande sets her sights on working with Beyonce
Emeli Sande, of Britain’s hottest up and coming stars, singer Emeli Sande has already had herpick of homegrown artistsfor collaborations.
The singer-songwriter, who has penned songs for Susan Boyle, Leona Lewis and Tinie Tempah, featured on chart successes by urban stars such as Chipmunk and Devlin, as well as on the chart-topper Read All About It by Professor Green.
She has also enjoyed two solo hit singles - Heaven and Daddy.
Now Emeli, who will perform at the Brits nominations launch next Thursday and is looking forward to collecting the Critics’ Choice award, wants to team up with the best America has to offer following her successful work with Alicia Keys.
Motown legend Stevie Wonder and queen of R&B Beyonce are now on her radar.
Emeli, who comes from Alford in Aberdeenshire, said: “I’ve had a few people requesting songs but everyone assumes that I am pretty busy at the moment.
“There are lots of people I would like to work with, so hopefully I can clear some time.”
