I was just thinking this the other day as I was listening to TOY on repeat. She definitely has one of the best ballad discographies for a pop girl.
But mess @ Bey, she's my fave and even I must admit I generally find her ballads lackluster compared to her uptempos and to other girls' ballads.
Well typically it's not the ballads themselves, but the lack of emoting from her that I feel while listening to them (performing them live is a complete different story though here ability to emote live is superb
)
