Judges, now that your scores are in, tell me if you took my Dragulator look as being campy fun or just messy

Show Girls - Judges' Critiques

Udders Tutu: Amazing and well thought-out, judging as a network exec I think a show this ridiculous could actually be picked up. Whether it would last beyond season 1 remains to be seen, but good job anyway. This is the job Wilhelmina left us for?

Carrie Messiah - I thought it was a really funny entry, Round 2 was the best part for me. Round 1 was typical quiz show stuff, but I wasn't sold on Round 3, at least not on your description of it. But points for Beyoncé shade.
Scarlett LaPierre - I think it's a fully realised entry. The concept is great and would probably be something I'd actually watch. I think there could've been more detail in that pilot, but still a fantastic entry. Just don't be surprised when Pears gives you a 0 for including Kylie music and Manila.
Carmen Scarlett - Okay, this is bothering me because the entry is really funny and I can see you have a great sense of humour but it's unfair for me to mark it above some other entries. It's so outrageous that it might get picked up for a one-off occasion but you were right predicting a cancellation. This isn't gonna work as a show.
Essie Jae Sherbet - Ooh, competition in the game show category. I think the two can co-exist though, since I see very little crossover. Good, solid entry with some funny lines, but one of the less memorable entries compared to some others.
Koko Khalyan - Brief concept but I think that's something I can look past given the simplicity of the show. The pilot was funny and it fits your character well. I'm glad you can see that our budget for chefs goes no further than early exits from a reality baking show. Unfortunately the network doesn't have the funds for your flight so you can hang there for a lil while.
Chanel DiAngelo - Kill Bill meets Mob Wives, I live. Let's get to the obvious: the length. It is long and it's probably more of a realistic pitch than one for an online game. How long have you been thinking of this show for? Cus I know you didn't come up with this on the spot. I didn't feel bored reading it, but I think small parts could've been taken out. It was a good read though and I would pick it up.

Udders - This doesn't work for me at all and comes across more like a modern day Disney channel show rather than something that fits the 18-49 demographic we were told to look out for.
Carrie - The concept is very good, but it was a little boring at times. The challenges needed to be bigger, more draggier, more messy. The question time part could be cut completely.
Scarlett - This is a rehash of every generic talk show I've ever seen and I hate it. There must be over a dozen shows airing like this already in America, so let me be the first to say I'm not interested at all in another. I thought it was bland and uninteresting. I have to ask myself - where is the drag of it all? This is some basic white woman (Kylie?) ****. For DR, I think you need to go a bit above and beyond, and have no fear of doing so. This was just conventional, and drag is not conventional.
Carmen - Everything I could've hoped for, basically.
Essie Jae - You had one of the better entries which is nice to see. Everything about it was just good. So well done.
Koko - There are no issues here and you certainly had one of the best entries.
Chanel - This would win if this was a screenwriting game and the challenge was to write a show about assassins. But that's not the case. However this probably has the most real life application, but it's just not drag sadly.

Udders Tutu – This was…original. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, and I’m glad you’re not afraid to appeal to that niche audience. I laughed several times while reading it, and while I’m not 100% sure I’d be recording the season, I wouldn’t change the channel if it came on. Slay.
Carrie Messiah – This was very much ingrained with the culture of ATRL, though I’m not really that excited by it. This is, essentially, a game show for ATRL. While it sounds fun, it doesn’t sound original. You had the most creative approach of any contestant when you won the songwriting challenge, and I wish I had seen more of that Carrie.
Scarlett LaPierre – You have consistently been the Chad Michaels of the group, never delivering an unpolished entry. This was very calculated, very professional, and very middle-of-the-road, in terms of originality. Talk shows are boring, end of story. But we don’t watch for the segments, we watch for the host. Oprah, Ellen, Queen Latifah, etc, THEY are what draw people to the program. Your pitch was well thought out, and I would watch The Honest Tea with Rupaul. I’m just not sure I’d watch it with Scarlett LaPierre.
Carmen Scarlett – I don’t know what some of the others were talking about…This was definitely out there compared to the other entries, but I really enjoyed that. You admitted that the show would be cancelled, but, hey, I never said it had to be a ratings hit. As a network executive, does that lack of confidence entice me? No. But as a lover of camp, this sounds like a thoroughly enjoyable and ******* few hours.
Essie Jae Sherbet – Girl, do you even know how crazy hard 8 inch heels would be to walk in? I don’t think drag queens do that, like damn that would be uncomfortable. But anyways, this was another game show. I liked the physical component and it sorta reminded me of a Nickelodeon special mixed with Wipeout. I didn’t particularly enjoy the little puns thrown in; they seemed to interrupt and detract from whatever you were saying at the time. If a joke fits and comes naturally, keep it in. If you have to stop and think about what joke to write, then don’t write one there.
Koko Khalyan – That **** name, though. Just cuz it’s an alliteration don’t mean it’s good, girl. But ignoring that, this was really good. You were concise, entertaining, and gave me several reasons to watch. Out of all the shows, this is the one I think would be the most successful on LOGO if/when they decide to stop being “the drag race” network. Good job.
Chanel DiAngelo – I don’t normally agree with TOO on length, but you did too much here. There’s no way around that. Your show reminds me of Pan Am or the movie The Family. When you introduce so many characters at once, it’s difficult for the audience to make sense of all of their relationships at first. When it comes to pilots, the simpler the better. However, this gave me a slight Desperate Housewives of Assassins tea, which I enjoyed. I could’ve done without most of the assassin info, I feel like.

Udders - What in the Chanel hell is this? Ladies - and this goes for ALL of you - If you cannot get your message across in a precise and concise manner, you are way over-thinking it and going about the challenges in the wrong this. You're such a kooky, out there, on drugs possibly(?) queen and of course you gave us a completely out there show concept. It wasn't the best idea at all, but it was so unique that you earn some points there. However, all the dialogue excerpts that you (extra-ly) put in ended up hurting you a little. You had this really niche, odd concept of a show and then dragged it down with really cliche and basic gay humor.
Carrie - This was a little overwrought for me. The game show concept was fun and it fill wet into the theme of an ATRL network. Obviously you know your audience but at times it felt overly complicated and drug on a bit too much. The game show would be easier to follow, and more exciting if a team was eliminated each round. Having all 4 in the final round is a bit messy and less competitive.
Scarlett - This was very professionally done and presented most like a pitch should be. However, the creative behind this was lacking. You've literally taken the Wendy Williams show and made it slightly more gay. While relevant, it's not the most exciting entry. Where's the draw for me to up my cable package when I can already watch a drag queen doing the same thing on Fox everyday? Also, for the record, Tea already means truth in gayspeak, so your show is literally titled "The Honest Truth".
Carmen - I find it odd that you went for laughs about your entry rather than just focusing on making a funny show. You already know this show isn't a great concept since you yourself said it'd be cancelled 3 episodes in. Your write-up was clever in a tongue-in-cheek way but it doesn't hide the fact that you failed to create a successful show.
Essie Jae - I understand the point of pandering to your audience with the Hunk, but it doesn't really work unless there's a workable role for the eye candy. The Pit Crew works on RPDR because it's a quick 1-3 minute glance at some sexy men. I'd imagine devoting half of the show to hot men badly doing drag things would get old quick. Points for using and highlighting drag queens in your programming though.
Koko - I mean, it's cute you revived the fitness episodes of MTV's Made. While potentially entertaining daytime television to watch when you're home with the flu, there's nothing unique or exciting about this concept.
Chanel - Sis, this is for the ATRL network, clearly a low-budget niche cable channel. Points for creativity as its clearly thought out (and over-written) but in what way does this relate to your audience? Minimally educated bottoms and audiophiles are not the major market for this type of programming.

Ddd you dressed as a drag dog every episode? A Wilfred tea! This was so weird and odd and with the premise of the show was really creative as one of those quirky comedy shows with really fleshed out humor like Portlandia. Sadly tho, a lot of it was just cheap gay humor. It was a really creative idea but I feel like the dialogue was really shoe horn in and overall brought the creativity of it down for Parks and Rec to an 11:30PST LogoTV show.
Carrie Messiah
Woooo take me back to TRL. You know what would happen on a show like this week after week? This but with more gays and more abrasive comments and personally I’m kind of here for this type of show. There are hardly any TV shows anymore even dealing with pop music (a good and bad thing). But I think this would be the kind of messy trashy show on MTV that would come with plenty of Gifs. and memes and quotes that little gay on ATRL can quote.
Scarlett LaPierre
Mmmmm. I’m getting mixed to positive reviews with this one. While I feel like these formatted “The ____” type shows are getting kind of run out, you did mix a multi type of talk shows that are popular and could gather its own audience which is good. I feel like one hour to get all this in though wooo. I’m fearing it might be semi rushed. The obvious target gay audience is semi concerning. You don’t wanna just pander to one audience or else ARTPOP’s sales happens.
Carmen Scarlett
What is this hot ass mess and not you telling me you gonna get cancelled anyways. Ddd a mess. As entertaining as it would be to watch Drag Queens and their Draw My Lives it just doesn’t work for TV. Maybe World of Wonder could pick it up?
Essie Jae
This had an interesting premise. Drag Queens vs. Hot Str8s (I’m assuming their straights). It’s a simple concept, and game shows are semi fun to watch when you have free time flipping channels. I don’t think people would be coming back to see it week after week at though. Maybe the hot guys would be a ratings draw? It’s kind of so-so for me. I did like the donations to Charity tho <3
Koko
Dffff that much weight loss in 4 days, yeah okay ya’ll paid for its Lipo suction you cheating scandalous tv show. A mess. Giving me a TLC network “we pretend to make their life better but ruin it in the process”. Not buying iT sis.
No really though this was semi cute. I could see it working on something like TLC and being a ~sentimental~ but messy show.
Chanel
Wow you REALLY thought this one through! This was really fleshed out, had a good set of diverse characters (which is all the rage these days) , and had a good and enticing enough plot idea to keep me reading and enjoying it. You were smart enough to not try to isolate one market and went for something diverse which I think was smart. You did everything I hoped you would

I'm aware, which is why I used "honest tea" instead of "true tea" or "truth tea". I didn't think the former was incorrect or redundant.
EDIT: Mess @ all of these critiques being so much more varied than usual.

I started giving y'all suggested guidelines because people were confused on how to judge the challenges, but I've allowed Pears to continue so obviously you can go a bit outside that from time to time.

I'm shocked because the other comments don't seem so different to how I feel as I expected
Was that comment all just a ruse to get me mad Citrus
