JLaw was pro-returning in the run up to Apoc's release. She pretty honestly said she'd wait for an offer, but now it's likely not going to be what she could earn elsewhere for not being painted blue.

Good her version of Mystique was not good imo, she turned her into a stubborn whiny teen, she can go. I will miss Michael and James though

Michael and James are likely to return. They want to, and they work well with fans.

The problem with the recast is that JLaw got too much screentime as herself and not blue Mystique. Recasting her would likely happen in a reboot of all the characters.

So the film is basically over in the US, hoping Japan can give it a final push to $550M WW. I can't wait to buy this on DVD though, really hoping they do lots of special features on it.
