That's one thing I'm actually quite interested to find out. Is how exactly this era will shape up in terms of promo. Will the music be upbeat enough to dance? Will it just be ballads that require live singing? Or mid tempos with some lower level choreo? To be determined

The choreography would be the only thing that would be a problem. Now, if Britney can somehow deliver us Circusney back that would be more than enough. J.Lo is a great performer. She's always delivering. No matter where she's performing at.

What with the J.Lo thing? , I mean that collab would be a mess, her music is awful with those Pitbull tacky collabs , and she is musically irrelevant for years , she just had lucky with "On the floor" and then quickly returned to her usual / constant underperforming singles.
At least Miley is smashing itunes right now and all eyes are on her.
I think Britney needs to be controversial again, I really miss controversial Britney , the one that always did crazy wow things on stage and music videos , she hasn't done anything like that in a while, and I think if she just do an unappropiate collaboration with Miley Cyrus the girl that is just turning bad , all the media will be there , I think Britney should just kiss Miley Cyrus and do some lesbic scenes with her on a music video or something really wild to be honest, something that really disturbs people.
A collab with J.Lo is just musically useless and uninteresting, not to mention J.Lo would destroyed her dancing on stage.

Let's not. J.Lo is still relevant. Yes, the whole Pitbull thing is kind of annoying but she can still deliver with the right material. I don't need Britney to be doing any lesbian scenes with Miley. It wouldn't look right on Britney. Miley is only 20 while Britney is 31.

If she collab with Jlo with one of Britneys producers it could be cool, i bet the video would be fierce too! Just because her music has been bad recently doesn't mean she can do features with others and it would suck too.
Not that it would ever happen.
Here for MATM V.2 with miley

Madonna was more than 40 , and Britney just 22 when she just kissed Britney , so whats the problem?
Britney should do some BDSM scenes with Miley , she would shock everyone , I want another shock moment for Britney, I need a new controversy, its been a bit boring lately to be honest.

OMG why are you always complaining about success? I agree that JLo's latest music is generic and Britney shouldn't do that (Although LOVE? has some awesome songs that I could see Britney slaying), but that doesn't mean JLo can't make a great song again. It's like saying Britney should never do music again because FF was full of generic dance pop tracks . Who CARES if JLo is irrelevant right now? Her older urban songs were IT and I think she and Britney would make a great collaboration.
Besides it's not like her previous collaborations were full of A-listers...Ying Yang Twins, Sabi, will.i.am. I mean...

Dance again did well. No need to drag J.Lo. She was irrelevant in 2007-2009. Not now.

Chart success isn't the same as being relevant all the time.
Jlo is still a huge celeberity and any collab britney did with her would be HUGE NEWS

"Live it up" flopped horribly , and it was the first single of her next album which I assume is now cancelled.
Not to mention the song was also awful.
---
the thing about the Miley Collab is that I just accept it if there's going to be something controversial / shocking about it , otherwise if its just a normal collab just singing a song and thats it , then I don't approve it, I don't need a song with Miley Cyrus ... I'm just here only for the controversy and nothing else.

so that's why she is irrelevant? what kinda logic? Britney had a flop singles too, thought they weren't lead singles, but of course Britney is bigger. J.Lo has a better views on youtube though, has a WW tour. Too much for a flop.

Thats false, Britney's Youtube VEVO account has more views than J.Lo's
the only J.Lo video that has good views is "On the floor" and I don't think its because people wanted to see how great was the music video, they just wanted to see J.Lo shaking her ass while masturbated.
J.Lo doesn't even have a fanbase anymore, her albums can't even go -Gold-
She is super famous as a celebrity , because of the tabloids and her amounts of marriages and her TV work , etc ... but in the MUSIC DEPARTMENT she's been a non-factor for YEARS.
but anyways I don't think the charts are important for collabs, IMO I just think her music and taste are tacky so I don't want her to be involved with Britney.
I prefer a collab with Kylie Minogue, it would be a nice trade, because Kylie is very popular in UK and Britney is in the US, so it would be beautiful if Kylie could get her first top 10 hit since "Can't get you out of my head" in America and at the same time it would be a guaranteed top 10 hit in UK , it would be overall a hit, the video would be great, Kylie is known only for her music and not to mention the collab would be elegant

If I remember correctly. Britney wasn't really a fan of that song. She wanted Boom Boom as a msingle instead.

For the most part you're correct although at the point she was indifferent. Rkelly was promised the first single since they were labelmates. Britney hated the song and used Madonna as a marketing tool to get matm as lead single. In the us, it underperformed. They then started testing I got that boom boom and outrageous on urban and rhythmic radio...they were getting like 100+ spins. I remember because one day outrageously bad was training then boom boom the next.
Second single...jive wanted everytime for controversy and to follow Britney and justified single formula. Britney demanded toxic be a single or she would stop promotion until the tour that march. She got her way and then agreed to have everytime as a 3rd single. Ying yang twins thought they were getting the third bit then were believing they'd get fourth single for the summer. Britney was indifferent to it but wanted that over boom boom. The problem was r Kelly threw a btch fit to jive to make outrageous the fourth single. She had to do it.
Breathe on me was to be 5th but we all know what happened. Gh:Mp
