Whether you like it or not, The bridge helped the song perform and gave the song what it was missing, especially with the Ad-libs in the final chorus.
But the song is still the pits.

Legend X complemented the originally dull song so perfectly and made it the hit that it is. MLJ is M5's biggest hit. I mean they have had catchier songs like Makes Me Wonder and Love and none even half as huge a smash as MLJ was. The song basically begged for a powerhouse feature. Adam Levine clearly made the right choice.
