The climate is very different from the cheerful Disney productions starring Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens. This time, the actresses are dark and the camera moves less predictably, and other differences that can be noticed in the first teaser of Spring Breakers, also starring James Franco. The release date has not been set, but should be marked so that the long reach to the big screen later this year.
The plot of the film which is directed by Harmony Korine shows four girls who end up in prison for trying to rob a restaurant in search of money to spend on vacation. They receive then offers an indecent dealer who offers to help them. The production also features on the soundtrack Skrillex.

It was the first official video released around ‘Spring Breakers’ movie with the signing of Harmony Korine (“Gummo,” “Julien Donkey-Boy,” “Mister Lonely”), best known for being responsible for the controversial argument’ Kids “by Larry Clark.
In “Spring Breakers” - which premieres at Venice Film Festival - four girls that we decide to do a robbery to pay for a trip to the beach. Vanessa Hudgens, Rachel Korine, Ashley Benson, Selena Gomez and James Franco make up the cast.

Complaining about how places are always the same, every day, Selena Gomez is the only one to speak in the first clip of Spring Breakers. She makes her complaints surrounded by friends, played by Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine.
The four are the protagonists of the story, the roles of Faith (Gomez), Candy (Hudgens), Brit (Benson) and Cotty (Korine), who meet university since high school, live together and decide to rob a diner to afford a trip vacation.
But the plan backfires and they are arrested. And it is then that kicks in Alien (James Franco), a trafficker in guns and drugs: he paid the bail of girls, but in exchange requires that they kill his main rival, Archie (Gucci Mane).
The film is directed by Harmony Korine and text display and the first case on June 5 at Venice Film Festival. No date for the commercial launch of the film.

And now, for something completely different going! … Okay, the anguish of adolescence demonstrated in this first clip of Spring Breakers, is not exactly new, but seeing Selena Gomez behind bars (and a monologue about the banality of a monotonous life, that studies is less Disney) is something to be marked.
In the first teaser of the film, which Selena has warned that it may be shocking to some fans who saw it grow by making movies for the family, it is fast, quiet and very blue and literal.
In this scene, a blonde Vanessa Hudges pretend to shoot down on her friends and herself, while a depressing tone of voice echoes in Selena concrete walls (we could not see much of the scenery, but considering that the film begins going with them arrested for assault, it is not wrong to think that is a jail cell.)
“I’m so tired of seeing the same things every day,” she says as the camera wanders through his face. “Everything is the same and everyone is sad.”
And … no, that’s it. (Hey, we told you it was quick.) But even with this tiny clip, it’s clear that Selena accepted a challenge far greater than the roles she usually plays. And as Spring Breakers just hit theaters in 2013, we’re really waiting for other clips - including an appearance James Franco and his dreadlocks - as the release date nears.
Rolling Stone thinks the movie will be released in 2012.
I am really quite excited for Spring Breakers
The teaser looks what I expected of it, but portrayed in a very mysterious and dark way... I think I'll like the movie.
