I think "Tom's Diner" could be a good holdover until her actual lead single is released. If it does well, it will only help her next era and if it flops it really isn't a big deal because she is just a featured artist.
She could easily do a one day video shoot in NYC at a diner where she literally sits her butt at a booth and sings the song while the events described in the lyrics unfold around her.

She could do lots of things, but we all know how Britney is nowadays.
Fair enough. But us stans get hyped no matter what, even after OLL, I think most of us were excited for Work Bitch.
The GP clearly wasn't though. She needs hype at this stage of her career. & she's not gonna have it if she keeps releasing little buzz singles. The video better be one of her best ever or else it'll be pointless.

She already shot the video btw. She shot it weeks ago. That's what that mysterious Instagram post was about. Apparently she wears a blue dress in the video.
The awful remix and "Ooh La La" killed any hype that "Scream & Shout" generated. Had she released "Work Bitch" right after "Scream & Shout" it would have done better than it ended up doing.
