90's music was more interesting than today's, but most of it is still pretty overrated and excruciatingly enhanced by nostalgia. We really don't need to bring it back; most of it was dull Adult Contemporary and same-sounding R&B songs that did not change over the course of the entire decade (with a few really good exceptions).
Though 90's pop culture was something definitely worth reminiscing about. That was pretty fun.
