I think Donatella was done in the March-June recording session, but it was a concept she was toying around with for awhile (same with Sexxx Dreams, which took her a long time to finalize; it's rumored that Donatella was the final incarnation of White Roses from the first sessions in 2012). Same for Fashion!. Applause, Swine, Sexxx Dreams, and MANiCURE. Venus and Dope were the last songs completed for the album. Mary Jane Holland (although I think she shelved this until August/September when it was suddenly added to tracklist contention again), Gypsy, J&D, ARTPOP were all 2012. Do What U Want was probably early 2013. Not sure about G.U.Y., but this was another early confirmed one so probably when they were touring together. And Aura was also another early one, and I think she changed it from Burqa around June.
I really wish we had more info about the recording sessions for this album, especially since they were split between the first scrapped album, the urban/R&B period, and the final album sessions. I just want to know the complete story of what happened. DJWS was obviously pushing for a more urban-influenced album, but she only ended up saving DWUW and J&D from those sessions, and nothing from the original sessions.
