If the person helming the X-Men universe can manage to thread and develop the main villain well into the universe just in time for the X-Men movie where it all comes to a head, I think it should give the franchise a resurgence, imo. It would be something Marvel studios hasn't done since Thanos has been a non-factor in the films and yet he suppose to be a major villain. Having the X-Men major guy be seen pulling the strings would be nice.
yay over 500m 600m doesn't seem impossible especially if it does well in Japan
Yeah. I think after it's done in every other territory, it'll end up with around ~550M. Making 50M in Japan shouldn't be too difficult, especially considering how the other movies have done there.

That's nothing new. They prepared them since last year.
Current plan is wolverine 3 2017 early, gambit 2017 oct (currently in script)
Deadpool 2 and new mutants 2018 march and june. Both will start the shooting in late 2016 to early 2017.
Simon(flop) started on script for x force and it'll happen like in 2019 ~ 2020.
They haven't decide on main x men yet so we don't know anything yet.
Apoc surpassed DOFP in China this weekend! It's about $6M short from the first X-Men domestically, guess it'll wind up around $160M at home and another $380-390M internationally with Japan.
