All I know is that first single during this era should be huge RnB/Pop crossover, some kind of multiformat smash( like Burn).On the other hand I agree with You that even one Dance/Generic record on the album would destroy the whole Urban/Old School hype around it.

It does sound like him. Yes Dr Luke is credited but it doesn't mean the song is pop or genereic. Especially when you see that all the other producers credited are urban.

And tbh Usher knows what he's doing no one of us would ever imagine that Yeah! would be a great song where we heard that Lil' Jon produced it... and then the song came out everyone was going crazy and now it's one of the biggest songs ever.

I honestly doubt it's him he has a lot of stans on Twitter and IG but he isn't particularly present. He doesn't really tweet and when he does it's for The Voice.
