How could you not use him the first 2 eras? That was his peak, he was so huge. He had like 15 smash hits.
I didn't know this even existed until ATRL.

Can y'all believe these were actually new hits a full decade ago? Like, it feels like yesterday.
I wasn't really paying as much attention to music back then. I think I only watched VH1's and MTV's music videos before school and that was it. That and whatever was played around school.
The nostalgia though One thing I remember clearly was Gwen and Usher dominating completely with L.A.M.B. and Confessions. Good times.
I mean, I was a little ass kid but I still have solid memory of the 2004-2006 era in music. (Not anything before that though) I guess it's because my family was always a radio family, meaning usually everytime we were in the car, til this day, radio is being played.
"Yeah!", "Lean Back", "Drop it Like It's Hot", "Let Me Love You", "Hollaback Girl", "Run It!", "We Belong Together", etc. I still have solid memory of hearing all the big hits of that era often.
I just remembered "Laffy Taffy". It's so bad in 2015. How did it go #1
To be fair I don't recall that many songs from 2006 and back except for like some Britney songs, Aqua (), Crazy Frog (), Soulja Boy (), 50 Cent () and Aussie alternative bands. Although I do remember Fergie and The Veronicas totally dominating that year. Luv them.
Omg yes Riding Dirty. The Weird Al parody was so iconic; I'd hear it on the radio and everyone at school quoting it.
And everyone quoting Glamorous back in the day. Even when I was in grade 12 (like six years later) people still quoted it. The Mean Girls of pop music.
