I was talking to my friend about Beast and she said she liked their last title track Shadow
I knew she was wrong but I couldn't even remember the name of their title track to tell her beast did comeback this year.
They used to be one of the best idol groups, musically at least IMO and now me and my friends can't even remember their comebacks.
I personally feel this represents Kpop as a whole lately. Bland, boring, and forgettable but that's expected when the same 3 producers are making almost all the songs idols are releasing
Everyone wants a quick hit without caring if they make a lasting impression

I agree with BK. Qri and Boram do literally zilch while the 2 members they added had rap talent/vocal skills. I mean don't get me wrong, I love Qri, Boram's cute sometimes but I think they should've kept the other gorlz.

Honestly after Qri admitted she became a singer so she could wear shiny costumes on stage and Soyeon said she looked up the company address, walked right in and became a member on the spot I knew I had to let go of any expectations I had for them to do anything despite that I still feel like they work best as 6 for some reason. Besides there's always the ghost singers to take care of the vocals for them
Their messiness is part of their charm for me () but I can't imagine what kind of disaster it'd be if they started swapping the original members out for new ones if they didn't disband in the process.

WINNER's longevity in the top 3 on melon and Instiz is quite remarkable. I don't anyone expected them to last this long nor manage to survive Busker Busker which Park Boram also managed.
Winner is actually super talented and their songs are nice
