Am I the only one not really here for the country influences Pharrell was talking about? I know she sounds good doing country but I highly doubt pop or country radio would be here for it.
Plus I think people exaggerate how much she sounds better doing country.

I'm kinda excited for the country pop. now that taylor seems to be ditching country miley can take her place as the pop/country queen

I don't see country fans deserting Taylor any time soon and I honestly don't see them welcoming Miley with open arms for at least a while. Especially with the image/attitude she has lately. But Ready Set Don't Go and The Climb were decently sized country hits IIRC so at least she already has history if she ever does choose to appeal to country audiences. But I hope she doesn't until she's a little older.
