Because she literally had the song handed to her and all she had to do was spend half an hour recording vocals and it was done. She didn't even do backing. The song was pretty much a ready-to-go Meghan/Luke track that didn't make her latest album. I doubt JLo has a new album ready. She's just fishing for a quick hit to capitalise on the Idol finale.

Hardly comparable to a true artist like Katy.

If You Can Afford Me is so nostalgic for me. It takes me right back to 2008 when I was bopping to the album, definitely an album highlight (one of the few that wasn't released as a single).
