When I listened 1989 for the first time
first 5 tracks that I loved instantly : Blank Space, This Love, Wildest Dream, Clean, New Romantics
And for now, NR is my current most fave song off the album

I love how the title New Romantics is an obvious homage to the 1980's New Romantics pop culture movement in the UK.

That CNN segment is an example of why the Cyrus family are so pressed with Taylor. She is described as the anti-Miley in the media quite often. The media often cite as an example - Taylor is how to do it right and Miley is an example of how to do it wrong. It is not Taylor's fault, but Taylor blowing up like she has and doing it with style, grace and dignity is often used to put down Miley in the Press.

That's actually true tbh
the main reason why miley probably hates taylor is due to everybody else. It's not easy when somebody in the same position is receiving universal acclaim while your dragged to the pits, and both of them were country and successful back then.

I'm so tired of hearing how "good" Taylor is compared to Miley. It's good that Taylor doesn't need sex to sell, but Miley isn't as bad as people make it seems. She's actually a really good person.
