Its just lame promotion, she will always say her last album / and tour are the best ones of her career, she has done that with each of her albums, obviously she is not gonna say while promoting hey "Femme Fatale tour" is one of my worst tours but buy tickets and watch me.
Everyone knows she didn't like / enjoy at all her "Femme Fatale era".

You have a good point but to be fair you have to remember that not only was the sales climate different back then but in the 70s, 80s, 90s and even the early 2000s it was a lot easier for artists over 30s and 40s to smash then it is now where the music industry consists of mostly younger artists.

Not to mention some of those albums on that list were still the least selling or one of the least selling ones of some of those artists, which means commercially they faced the exact same thing Britney faced with "Femme Fatale" adjusted to the climate and conditions of the industry of their respective times.
Which isn't so bad. She could still have a Liza Minelli type career
