The whole turning the Myers family into some white-trash fifth ruined his remake tbh. The later half of the movie was alright.

I watched Mama last night. One of the best MOVIES I have ever seen (let alone horror movies in particular). Everything about it was fantastic.

Not only was it actually scary, but the whole storyline was really well done. None of the characters felt like stock characters or stereotypes, they were all complex and played a really important part in the story.

I think the reason I liked it so much was because I actually LIKED Annabel and Lucas. (I usually don't care whether the main characters live or die, I'm just in it for the twists and thrills.) I was actually rooting for them so hard and I was scared FOR THEM.

And both Mama and Lilly were creepy as ****. Goddamn!

Watching the remake to Nightmare on Elm Street tonight...the original is superior to this one without a doubt, though I love the movies they have never been one of my favorites.

Just finished it. It wasnt horrible like I was expecting, but not even slightly scary for me.

VI is the 3rd best of the franchise though.



IV was pretty much basic as all hell, V was only worth watching for Meagan Good and Julie Benz and VII was just kind of there.

Was awful. 2/10. It was like a SYFY movie and the score made me laugh my head off. What were they thinking with that one.

Now that movie was just a complete and utter turd. Avoid it like the plaque. It makes no sense, is boring and I felt like I wanted to bang my head against the wall. 0/10

Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood
Now this is a decent movie. It's back in the woods and has got some great performances. Queen Melissa and that damn TV. The ending is just OMG. Good movie from the late 80's.

I'm going to watch some more of the installments from the 13th franchise this weekend.

The ABCs of Death was such TRASH. The shorts were dull, stupid, and made no sense. I was really wanting it to be great. A complete waste of 2 hours!
