Yeah I agree people really need to stop with that. I don't care if it's R&B, Pop or whatever I appreciate everything from him and Usher gives us always quality music.

Exactly. Usher's a natural R&B/Soul artist so regardless of which genre he does (electro, synthpop, quiet storm), there's an element of R&B in them, which makes them feel familiar, yet different. Just look at how sonically innovative Climax, Go Missin', OMG and Yeah! were. They are nothing like your typical R&B songs, but elements of that genre was in his voice. That's what I love so much about Usher's music, they transcend genres and makes it own little sonic area.

I agree. L4M is his best work post Confessions. Although Confessions is a great and iconic era for him, people need to move on. He made a pure r&b album and people complained saying it was too mature, he made a fun album and people complained saying there wasn't enough ballads l. That's why I love L4M, its a big **** you to whoever keeps passing judgement.

Confession's success will always haunt him. It's up to him to not let it cloud his judgment and to bloody promote his material, otherwise the rest of the world won't shut up. Remember how people nagged about Here I Stand and then he released RvR? Then you have people like Ne-Yo dissing Usher, saying how it doesn't top Confessions. "You can't give me a Grade A album, then a B or B- ) It will never end. I wish instead of pleasing these people, he would just continue his pursue of electro-R&B and quiet storm because it was the most fresh Usher's been in a long time.

Or hell, do whatever he wants to.
