Bey solo is better than any incarnation of DC and I don't want her spending any more of her prime years entangled with a group. They had that time, but they're all grown with very different perspectives and artistic approaches now. Perhaps a reunion in the distant future when they're older and have really already done and said everything they have wanted as individual artists, but it is not something I want to see now.

Yes. No one comes close.
No female has a pop song as acclaimed as "Crazy In Love," video as acclaimed as "Single Ladies," or album as acclaimed as "BEYONCE."
It's crazy to see, but dope!

Bey already had her Thriller with IASF and her Bad with Self-Titled. She also had a great success with her debut + never forget her success with DC. She's already the biggest star in the world. I mean, everybody whos a little bit sane will say "Ok Taylor is extremely successful these days, still, Bey is the bigger star". Of course certain stanbases will argue differently, but the GP would disagree, Im very sure of it.
So what do you do when you are the biggest star in music right now? Do you continue with GP-friendly music just to stay relevant in chart and basically do not evolve? Or do you aspire to do great things, exciting things, things that will stand the test of time cause they have impact and quality? Beyonce is at a point, where she's securing her position as a future legend. Therefore, radio-friendly **** is not going to do her good. She needs astounding material, music that positvely surprises people because its daring. Not some mediocre radio-****.
So no, not here for regular commercialism. Bey is better than that. I want to be slayed by her, simply because she's capable of that like no one else currently.

It's always funny how when people suggest they want her have a big era, someone says she is above it or she would take generic music to have that big era. She can make great music and have a huge era, she can do both.

This. THIS IS WHAT I MEAN. Artists like MJ, Madonna, The Beatles had HUGE eras but they broke down barriers while having them. You don't need generic music to have a huge era. Beyonce already proved that with ST

I wish yall will stop this pretentious ****. You can still make radio friendly songs and it still be a masterpiece a la "Crazy in Love," "Halo," "Baby Boy." etc. No one is telling her to book Dr. Luke or sing a Katy Perry-esque song

Half of the problem lies around some of you all feeling she has to follow some pre-determined era ala "Thriller", "Bad", or "Erotica."
It makes me sick every time I read it. Bey has never had a "Thriller" era and never will. She will one day have an era that matches those eras y'all keep trying to force her into. Bey has set her own path. And the sooner y'all realize that and stop trying to make her the "female Nameaperson" or the "black Namesperson" the better off you will be.
She's the first ever Beyoncé and as a whole is incomparable to anyone else. That is what will make her a legend. Her eras will be defined by what she puts into them, not what a MJ, Madonna or Prince era was like compared to hers. It's beyond annoying. Stop it.
And some of y'all only want hits so you can play the "stan game". And Bey is NOT above making catchy, timeless music that will do great on the charts. SHE seems to think she's above promoting it and through this thought pattern some of the stans think she's above promoting her work too. Fact: SHE IS NOT.
There is nothing wrong with wanting hits, but wanting them just for the sake of bragging amongst other stanbases is ridiculous.

Not going to read any of these essays. Nothing on ATRL is that serious.
I'm not even thirsty for new Bey. ST is still slaying me and my other faves are slaying too.

Drag a bit.
The songs Bey is known for are the songs her fans don't want her to make. That to me is crazy.

I don't see how. All of her hits have been pushed initially by the Hive. The GP caught on later. The only song she's remembered for that the Hive doesn't like (it's split pretty even) is RTW.
