Not me returning to base and spoiling the fun here, but BTW is not her best album, IM Humble O. Not at all.
Love ya Monsters, though.

I agree. But it is also important to note that it came out at the forefront of the beginning of the gay rights crusade and you can bet that it had a great influence. Telling a whole new generation that they are "perfect" and to accept yourself because God made you perfect and you were "born this way?" Does any current artist have that level of impact? I think not.

Not saying I wanted an album full of self-empowering hymns but I'm saying I love the variety she had and how she played with concepts like "religion" in Judas, Electric Chapel, Black Jesus and death with The Edge Of Glory and also included the concept she wanted about living between reality and fantasy giving us songs like Highway Unicorn and Bloody Mary to a certain extent.

Oh. Well, I was actually just talking about the single itself. The album itself will probably end up being looked as a dark Bowie-esque realm of Gaga's power and egotism, as well as a twisted yet safe escape from the established norm. The only song that never seems to fit into what she tries to tell about her grand vision is Americano. Otherwise, it is basically a perfect set of 12 songs (not bringing the deluxe album into this).

But the regular version had 14 songs, and without Americano there would be 13.

Hm. I was just numbering off the top of my head. Maybe Bloody Mary but it is one of the best songs on Born This Way so I can excuse it for not really fitting in. It's sound certainly fits though. DJWS was on point during BTW.

Great choices made. For some odd reason a few weeks back I imagined Gaga releasing single artwork for all the singles, but this is how I would envisage it. The one for Artpop really should have been the album cover.

No, seriously, I never liked BTW. I was one of those many people that got scared off, big time. I really do not enjoy it at all, but at the same time I respect it and most of all I respect people's feelings towards it and I know this album for many was something more than just a pop album released by a pop star and I completely get it.

Why would you go to a concert drunk yo? That's dangerous.

We're too much Koons to understand the morally artistic values of Born This Way.

How could I forget about this flawless gif.
Whenever I see it, it always reminds me of how someone earlier described it as "this is Gaga during the exorcism".

The main problem with Born This Way is that the production is sloppy and messy in a lot of places. In comparison, ARTPOP's production is on point but it's let down lyrically and generally just being a structurally boring album.
Otherwise, Born This Way, Government Hooker, Heavy Metal Lover, Bloody Mary (especially), Electric Chapel and The Edge of Glory >>>>>> AP

Oh… I miss those days where she was possessed by Lucifer and slaying every single popstar out there (except Adele)

IMO the main problem with BTW was everything done behind the scenes and the mismanagement

My only problem with Gaga albums is lack of cohesiveness. I feel like BTW and ARTPOP would've been better with less songs that completely represented the concept.
