I think that's more the single than the album tbh, even though the album had a few empowering anthems like Hair and Bad Kids I believe she didn't actually do the whole "empowerment" concept all throughout. Not saying I wanted an album full of self-empowering hymns but I'm saying I love the variety she had and how she played with concepts like "religion" in Judas, Electric Chapel, Black Jesus and death with The Edge Of Glory and also included the concept she wanted about living between reality and fantasy giving us songs like Highway Unicorn and Bloody Mary to a certain extent.
