In my delusional mind this is how I think things are planned for Ursher.
1.New single around April-May ( he will promote the song on The Voice).
2. The Voice will end at the end of May or at the beginning of June.
3. Album will drop in July-August
4. Second single will get released in the same week as the album release or a couple of weeks prior to the release.
5. Third single will around January-February
6. He will perform at the Grammy's and will a couple of awards.
7. He will release one or two more singles to close off the era.

@Patricia: Summer=club songs, summer=people travel... and this is is just a wrong move for an comeback album, that's why I hope he'll not release it on June/July...

I've been trying to register since Climax came out, but I'm not much of a forum guy, so I missed all the registration dates. :/ Got super lucky this time I guess haha.

Well my names San, big Usher fan since I first heard "U Got It Bad" as a kid in my sister's car. Surprisingly I turned all my friends into an Usher fan. I've got that magic. :P

Big inspiration to me and I always found it weird that a straight guy loving Usher music was weird. I think his music is MOST relatable to us from the guys perspective. Which is probably the thing I hate most. Gay's aren't the only one's with problems, I find that when you're straight, liking a solo male singer not rapper or band is kind of taboo.

Anyways, business student, graduating soon, hopefully married very soon as well and everything single one of Usher's albums, I love em. Minus his debut of course. :P Hope to have some great discussions with you guys! And can't wait to destroy some anti-Usher obsessed..... people lol.

I watched his Kelly and Michael interview and he did say he was working on an album but he never said when he would release it.

Yeah straight guys liking Usher isn't weird. If most of them like Yeah, U Remind Me, Love In This Club, OMG, and his other hits I don't know why they can't like the rest of his music.

Nnnn during his interview he didn't even say he was finished with his album, he said he was working on it. Like it's the end of March and he is still in the studio

That's good. The longer the better. L4M's flop still stings to this day. His only album where I can honestly say there weren't any filler imo.

Let that album cook until its ready. Also I don't think a summer release is bad. Technically speaking, any release would be good as long as he promotes. Marketing is everything with someone like Usher, its not like he's a niche artist, his name is everything.

Yeah marketing is everything but the issue is that Usher doesn't have a real manager, a skilled one. Grace is more like a creative director but she doesn't know anything about business.

TBH I don't care if he flops as long as the music is good. But it is sad that a good album like L4M was overlooked by the GP because of poor promotion when he is Usher. He is the biggest male artist since MJ he deserves more than that. But I guess it is up to him. At the end of the day it is his life.

I think Grace is creative, and I have warmed up to her a lot, but she is not a good manager. It seems to me that she has a lot of great ideas but it falls short when it comes to showing the public. She would be a really good creative director but who knows. She has never managed before so she could have improved. Look at how well the Houston concert went. They changed everything and people loved it.

I don't really have a problem with Grace HOWEVER Usher should employ an additional MALE manager who would be able to hustle in this business and also handle him without fear since obviously he isn't thinking of employing his mom anymore.

It felt as though Usher was ashamed of L4M's performance and didn't want it to drag on, so with all the stuff with his ex-wife and kids happening, he just shoved the album under the rug. His team did a poor job with L4M's promotion but Usher has been in the industry long enough to know how things work as well.

He probably felt it wasn't needed himself due to him doing a world tour just a year before and having hit singles. Clearly it wasn't enough.

I just don't think his break was long enough. The public didn't miss him that much because Without You and Promise were huge hits and he was on tour.
