I wish it were a lie sis. BR deserved instant love and acceptance. Critically I'm sure it did, but monsters are hardly ever pleased with anything Gaga does at first.

Its her ****ing opinion, clearly this video rightfully has a place close to her heart since she finally let go of a secret shes been keeping & if she thinks its better than Bad Romance, good for her.

I couldn't give a flying **** how close the MTN video is to her heart. That still doesn't mean it isn't a bloated bore.
I did and while I don't really agree with it, I don't believe MTN is her best video that doesn't mean that she feels that because she directed it that it's better. I can see what you're trying to say though, for all we know she could be saying "well yeah , I directed this bad ass so it's better" but I think she's just really tired of the overdrawn comparison to BR.

There was a STRONG reaction from pretty much everyone. Even the people who didn't like it at first could recognize it was something significant.
Lord... tonight is like like when Born This Way, the album, leaked... my head is really, really, overloaded right now, just as it was on that day... It was pretty similar on VMA night too.

Maybe she *is* tired of the comparison, but why doesn't she think to herself "Ok, that BR video was universally adored by people, so let's try and see why it was so amazing and try to make it happen again", instead of wilfully making substandard videos for the sake of being different.
