Applause's music video is decent but nowhere near the best. I'd put it over JD/JD/BDR but below Eh, Eh. Also better than The Edge of Trash MV and You and I.
I do want a completely different sound from Gaga, something she hasn't done before, but she can only get that with new producers, she keeps using too many old producers on new albums, causing them to overlap somewhat... I need 100% new producers for every album she puts out

She goes through a cycle it seems. I wouldn't expect Paul to remain her main producer unless he truly is the Yes Man with the right type of music she likes. She needs to do a Rick Rubin album, like her betraying self said she would do right after Dope got praised to high heavens.

G.U.Y. was "pretty" but bland
Even if it had interesting looks it looked so cheap... I don't know, I think the song itself isn't presented well in the video. G.U.Y. however, works with the music it's been given.
