Don't get it twisted. The only reason JT did well this year (especially 1/2) was because his last album (Future sex/Love sounds) was flawless and it had been a while since he had released anything. It also helps that he promotes his songs like there is no tomorrow. No one was here for "sh!t and tie" but performing it over and over again made it a moderate hit. The material was extremely weak and I predict he will struggle to sell 300K with his next album. If his material continues to be like 2/2 he will be joining Extincta in a couple of eras. Think of this year as his BTW era. If he continues to make the same song over and over again like CMAR/Mirrors, his shARTPOP will make him irrelevant like Gaga.
