It's not arrogance. Why can't you understand she's an artist. She's not like any pop star, we know who we are talking about... The ones who prefer to pay in order for other people to convey a message from a song which in the first place isn't theirs. Gaga is a ****ING ARTIST. And as an artist for her work to be true, honest, genuine, it has to be done by her. It is just like paintures. Don't like Picasso? go away and watch some other people you'd like. Oh COME ON! Wanting to DIRECT your OWN music video is NOT arrogance. She's trying something new people. MOST people's faves don't even think or have enough creative control to THINK about directing a video yet alone CO producing.

Exactly. It's all about knowing what you're good at and what you're not.

And she is so very, very far from being good at directing. Her music videos are not living up to her fantastic music these days and she has nobody but herself to blame.

NOPE. She's not an artist like Rihanna, or Katy Perry, or any other manufactured brand. She's a TRUE artist. She's a Van Gogh, she's a Frida, Did they need people to paint their paintings? NO. That's what being a true artist is all about.

Yes I do admit Gaga probably does have a big ego and pride in her work..... But honestly... Who doesn't? I'm really not getting what some of you are saying in here.
