Y'all overestimate stans. Do you think stans were the only ones who bought FF? No. The only ones who went to the tour? No. The only ones who watched the videos and streamed the songs? No.
Now that that's settled, the album will NOT be released in October. She would of had a lead single out by now. Late November or early December IS happening, whether you want it or not. Could she lose the top spot to a Christmas album or an album that's selling boatloads? Yes! It CAN happen. But the only Christmas album that can be a threat is Michael Buble's and that album has already been out for 2 years, so it won't be as strong this year as it was last year!
There's also Kelly Clarkson's Christmas album but she's not a threat, plus, she's on the same label as Britney so they won't release anything that can harm her debut.
And coddie is right. In the last year alone, she's done X-Factor, S&S, OLL, Wango Tango, the Whitney Tribute, the iHeart Radio festival and Shape Magazine. She was basically dead for all of 2010. Hell, I bet some people thought she went back to rehab for all we know. At least this time people are actually aware of her existence.
As for Vegas, to make the prices more accessible but also have profit, they will most definitely be doing more than just 35-40 dates. It'll probably extend itself to well over 60 or 70 dates now.
