Until this moment, I haven't thought about #SoulPop being self-titled. I honestly don't think it will be and I hope that it isn't. I don't like self-titled albums. And as Kelly said (I think), I think that no album can contain everything that an artist is. So to me the only ST album which would correspond to the title is a compilation album at the very end of an artist's career.

I have a bad feeling this album might be self titled. She keeps saying it's the album she was born to make and now she's on a new label and doing this whole "new label new me this is the real me!" Thing it worries me.
I'm not here for a self titled, they should only be for debuts if at all.
Just read on KCE that Kelly reportedly said yesterday on the concert that the first single would be released in May because of some schedule problems.
I hope this mean that her lead single will have a feature guest on it because maybe the release date was moved to May so that the guest artist can be available to perform the song for Ellen, The Voice, BBMA, etc.
She's never released a lead single in the summer so she has to start the era out with a bang instead of one-two punch formula (even though Stronger felt like a lead single and smashed from freaking January to July). May sounds better to me

I really really really hope that this is not true. To me it feels kind of desperate to have a featured artist on your lead single, like "I'm so scared that I will flop, this will save me." Kelly is very well capable of smashing on her own.
Definitely one of my favorite looks of her in a long time.
