Well each round the nominated housemates automatically have to play, depending on how many there are, the rest get randomized. So some rounds there might be 4 nominee's, so only 2 extras can get randomized. Because 6 play each time.
If I hand-picked the people, it would be kind of unfair because.. let's say Cupid & Matty are nominated, then all the other Duel players get hand-picked, but they just so happen to be everyone in Cupid's alliance, it would be kind of unfair to Matty because he can only get 1 chance to win, whereas I have 4 other people in my alliance who will save me.
It could still happen obviously, but it would be randomized, so it's all down to luck.
