What prompted you to answer a question not directed towards you in the first place? I've read the OP and was taking a chance on getting an official reply from a moderator. If I wanted a "anybody respond" answer, I would not have prefaced my question with the word moderator. Do not give me passive aggressive, when I wasn't asking for YOUR reply in the first place.

Now, I know that you enjoy being helpful here in HQ and I'm sure it's much appreciated by many. Appreciated. But in this case, I didn't require your assistance. THANK YOU for all that you do though. Stay blessed.

Why was my thread closed? Nobody was fighting, and it wasn't off topic or anything. It wasn't like the 15 other repetitive threads that asked for the color. I provided a solution to the problem.

not sure if this has been discussed before:

sometimes, when I try to view ATRL on mobile, I'm re-directed to a bunch of different websites and then eventually the app store to download a game. occasionally, it'll just happen once or twice. other times, it re-directs me every time I load ATRL and I can't click on any links or read anything. basically, it makes it impossible to view the board on my phone. I know I can't be the only person this is happening to...

I understand that the website needs to make money -- but isn't there a way to make these ads less intrusive? I would be fine if I were re-directed a few times every hour, or every few link clicks, but sometimes, I can't even view the website from my phone anymore... and that seems a little ridiculous.

just wondering what the mods/other users' thoughts are on this issue.

I think as mentioned before you have to disable Java.

thanks, I'll look into blocking Java for ATRL on my iPhone.

are there any apps for iPhone that can fix this issue? like I said, I know the website needs to make money, and I don't want to circumvent the ads completely if it's not necessary.

I had the same problem, and I did this (except for step #6) and I stopped getting redirected:

1).Go to settings.
2). Click on Safari.
3).Turn on BLOCK POP UPS.
4).Turn on DO NOT TRACK.
5).Click Block Cookies tab. Then click block cookies from third parties&advertisers.
6).Do a Hard reset. Then your problem will be fixed.

Maybe that'll work for you too?
