I was like the opposite. I fell in love with it when I first saw it. Love the music video. I thought it was hilarious.
But by the time July rolled around I was SO TIRED OF IT.
I didn't even want it to win at the VMAs. About a year after it was dead from the radio I was able to listen to it again. Now it brings back such good memories.
I Illegaly downloaded the song from a website (tagged 
) and I was so disappointed, I expected something with great lyrics but instead we got a California anthem. 
but then I bought Teenage Dream, Circle The Drain and Not Like the Moves on iTunes and I was completely slayed. 
It seems like decades ago
