Gonna start doing daily bumps as promo/reminder. I know it is a bit tacky, but it is better than spamming your inboxes (that being said, the 1 week reminder's will be sent to everyone who hasn't completed their rates on Sunday).

Today's preview bit (let me know if you have a specific hint that you want): only 2 albums (wiithout regional bonus tracks, b-sides and demos) have averages higher than 8 and none have averages higher than 8 with all tracks.

The albums with the smallest average changes with those extra tracks factored in are True Blue, Like A Prayer, and Hard Candy and the albums with the largest average changes are Madonna and Rebel Heart.

Yeah I could've guessed this. Just for the sheer amount of extras on Rebel Heart, and then the early 80s songs that I'm sure some people didn't even listen to before rating.

And of course Like A Prayer benefits from having the besT B-side (Supernatural).

I know. There are like one or two that I think would have been a good fit for the album and some have potential, but for the most part I'm glad they were all left off the album.

That being said...the weird Pixar-esque sex bop that is Take A Day is everything (still glad it wasn't on the album though).

I agree with Queen, Freedom, Never Let You Go, and Nothing Lasts Forever, but no to the others. Back That Up is cute and I'm glad we have it, but it just sounds like Hard Candy 2.0 and no one (except for Alan, Reinvention and Subomie) wants that. Revolution just is too tacky folk imo. Two Steps Behind Me is fun, but I wouldn't want to deal with more of those "is it about Gaga" threads when it was released or "is Madonna two steps behind Taylor?" threads that would have happened when the album flopped.

edit: I've come to the conclusion that Never Let You Go -> Inside Out -> Best Night -> VVV should have been the standard album closer. A post-industrial meets urban masterpiece.

I agree with Subomie. Body Shop is one of my fave Rebel Heart tracks. It is so sweet and fun.
