And OMG, I have spent a lot of time in Europe when I'm travelling as well, WOW. There are people like those you quoted everywhere, and they exist since 1999. It doesn't back up your point AT ALL. 'Circus' still sold more than 'Blackout' in Europe AND in the UK, and album sales are what counts the most when it comes to analyzing less or more sucess.

Brit is losing and winning fans all the time. On every example you give, I can find you at least 3. These people aren't "real fans", they're jumping from an artist to another everytime they like/deslike something.
Brit's fanbase has remained strong during the years, and that what counts.
