Interesting essay and choice. At first when I started reading your essay I was unsure but you convinced me how this would push people to listen to the album but they would be 'disappointed' if they were expecting to hear tracks like this on the album... Or surprised.
Essay: 8 | Song: 10
2. Kyle. - Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded - The Re-Up: 7,8/10
There is a point in your essay with which I agree and other which I don't. The one I agree with is the fact that this is one of her best songs, if not the best. The chorus is really good but then I don't think it is Pop at all but R&B at its best. Nevertheless, I am not sure if this is the most adequated track to present the album taking in consideration what you have.
Essay: 7 | Song: 8,5
3. MusicLoverDude - Ashley Tisdale - Guilty Pleasure: 9,5/10
I guess the break did you good. This was a really interesting reading (eventhough you could've gone a little further) but the choice was flawless.
Essay: 9 | Song: 10
4. Sebas - Madonna - Music: 8/10
One of my least favorite singles from Madonna, if you ask me but it ain't about my taste here. It is about the song being irresistible and I actually agree with you, especially given the time it was released. The thing I wanted more was a bit more substance in the essay but you did alright.
Essay: 7 | Song: 9
5. basicinstinct - Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence: 9,5/10
I missed your essays! You are such a stan and it shows, ahaha! To be honest, I don't think this is a completely different direction from Lana Del Rey, it is very her, I couldn't picture anyone else singing this, yet I do agree that this track is irresistible for its catchiness.
Essay: 9 | Song: 10
6. Adele Addict - Adele - 19: 7,8
I liked your essay! I think you described the song really well but I felt that a connection to how it makes it irresistible to listen to the album failed. The song is funny and it does remember me something Amy Winehouse would do but yeah, eventhough I liked your entry, I must take in consideration that fail.
Essay: 6,5 | Song: 9
7. Supernatural. - Iggy Azalea - The New Classic: 5,5/10
I am pretty sure you didn't read the challenge or, if you did, you ignored it. The point of the challenge was to send in a song that was so irresistible, the listener would download or buy the record right away. Even with that, I do sense a little bit of that in your essay but I really think you missunderstood this.
Essay: 4 | Song: 7
8. Zune - Alexandra Burke - Overcome: 8,3/10
I see... But 'Bad Boys' is not R&B, Zune. It is a Pop Dance track and I am sure anyone will agree. Keeping that in mind, I do love this song and I think it does catch people's attention due to severall points you mentioned such as her voice. You did alright.
Essay: 6,5 | Song: 10
9. Girlicious - Paris Hilton - Paris: 7,8
I am a little confused but when you said: "This song is truly irresistible.", it truly is. God knows how I feel when I listen to this pop masterpiece. You stated some interesting points but they were so badly explained... That makes me sad, I want Paris to go far. Good Luck.
Essay: 5,5 | Song: 10
10. Cristhian - Lykke Li - Youth Novels: 7/10
I detected some shade in your essay. As some of your mates you missed out on explaining how this would make someone want to listen to the rest of the album. I get a sense of that in your essay (due to the song's quality) but I feel like you could've explored it a little bit more instead of focusing it solely in the song, do you know what I mean?
Essay: 6,5 | Song: 7,5
11. Bey_Rihstan - Brandy - Full Moon: 7/10
Your essay lacks substante. Once again it doesn't connect the song with the album, you just focused on the album. I get that it may be your favorite song on it but how would it influence someone to listen to the whole thing? The song's pretty!
Essay: 5,5 | Song: 8,5
12. holyground - Paramore - Paramore: 10/10
Best essay so far, hands down. I could only prove that with listening the song and everything you said makes sense. Great!
Essay: 10 | Song: 10
13. Element - Bastille - All This Bad Blood: 9,5/10
"As soon as the chanting begins, I guarantee that many listeners would find themselves very intrigued and immediately drawn in to Bastille's music." - Yes! I loved the beginning and I felt exactly the way you described. I feel like you focused too little on the connection with the album but your way with words drew me in and was really persuasive to move on to the album.
Essay: 9 | Song: 10
14. SailorMoon - Kacey Musgraves - Same Trailer, Different Park: 6,8/10
This song made me laugh because of its lyrics ("if you lose too much you're on crach" ) and the way she sings. You're right... Gay people are never mentioned in country songs, that's a point in your favor but your essay lacked substance and failed on explaining how this would guide anyone to the album. The song is really cute.
Essay: 5 | Song: 8,5
15. genetic fail- Lily Allen - Sheezus: 10/10
Work that pop girls strategy! You won me over.
Essay: 10 | Song: 10
16. dimitrius - Cher Lloyd - Sorry I'm Late: 8/10
You pointed out some interesting points but honestly I wasn't convinced enough on how this was a good platform for me to go listen the rest of the album or how it connects with the album besides having a catchy chorus and stuff. Nonetheless, I think you did alright and the song is friendly for anyone. It reminds me of Lea Michele!
Essay: 7 | Song: 9
17. sumthintoxic82 - Kelis - Food: 8/10
While I didn't love your essay, I think it is kinda interesting. I liked the connection with the album theme and it all made sense to me! Good job!
Essay: 8 | Song: 8
18. Penk - Robyn - Body Talk: 8,3/10
The thing I liked the most about your essay was the connection with the album but I felt like it could've been a little more explored, you know what I mean? Nonetheless, I think you did good and the song is quite good as well!
Essay: 7,5 | Song: 9
19. Lucky#17 - Danity Kane - Welcome to the Dollhouse: 10/10
Well, I actually completely disagre with your mates and loved the risk you took. I was scared but your essay made it clear. An interlude is such an intelligent (and risky) choice. Perfect 10.
Essay: 10 | Song: 10
20. e437 - Foxes - Glorious: 7,8/10
Similar strategy as the previous contestant. The song is a bit weird but I think that's an advantage. I just am not completely sold yet I don't think you did bad!
Essay: 7,5 | Song: 8
21. Mr. Loco - Avril Lavigne - Goodbye Lullaby: 8/10
Loco! You kinda are the quiet version of MLD because you don't really care if you win or lose. You always have albums with potential but end up being eliminated soon. I hope you do care a little bit more now and I liked your essay despite being really superficial.
Essay: 7 | Song: 9
22. Qatari Monster - Justin Bieber - Believe: 7/10
That was a very superficial essay, lacked substance and you could've gone a little further explaining how this would led me to the album. I expected a bit more.
Essay: 6 | Song: 8
23. Jake. - Ellie Goulding - Halcyon Days: 9,8/10
You're a strong competitor, everyone knows that so I am not surprised with your essay being that good while being short. You kind of said it all without a big text, good job!
Essay: 9,5 | Song: 10
24. CrazyCat - Pixie Lott - Young Foolish Happy: 7,8/10
Including your personal experience was really nice. Well, personally, I wouldn't buy the album based on a catchy/generic song and I really doubt people would too but you pointed out reasonable points, you did good!
Essay: 9 | Song: 6,5
25. Xedretinz Lododnz - Katy Perry - Prism: 5,8/10
You know, I love 'Prism', I love 'Double Rainbow' and this could've worked in a different round that wouldn't be meant to represent the album and make someone wanting to listen to the rest, you know what I mean? You could even try to convince me I was wrong but you didn't... I really hope you stay.
Essay: 4,5 | Song: 7
26. Era - Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded: 7,3/10
B e a u t i f u l description of the song but the question remains: how can this lead me or anyone else into listen the full album? I really loved your description of th song, though.
Essay: 5 | Song: 9,5
27. Marooner5 - Hurts - Happiness: 7/10
Just like a lot of your mates, the description of the song was really well done and the way you show love to it is really cute to see but you didn't explain me how this would guide me towards the entire thing, you know?
Essay: 5 | Song: 9
28. I'mRihannaFan - Justin Timberlake - The 20/20 Experience - The Complete Experience: 6/10
Well, that was a nice description of the song but you didn't explain how this irresistable track would lead me into the full album... That was the point of the challenge...
Essay: 4,5 | Song: 7,5
29. iHype. - Usher - Confessions: 7,5/10
You've been sending great entries but you should pay attention to what the challenge was about. The song is indeed fresh and nice but how would it lead me into the full thing?
Essay: 5 | Song: 10
30. KingSebert - Ke$ha - Animal: 6,5/10
I think I am wasting my time here.
Essay: 3 | Song: 10
31. VDK - Natalia Kills - Trouble: 8,3/10
Well, former-judge! How is it like being in the other side? Ahah. I actually liked your essay, I think you did a nice transition from the song to the album and it worked. The song's fun!
Essay: 8 | Song: 8,5
32. Jax - Beyoncé - B'Day: 7,8/10
Not you making me rate a song with Shakira low... Well maybe not. I think you played it safe and really well but the essay only explained half of what the challenge was about... Why is this song a good incentive for me to listen to the album?
Essay: 5,5 | Song: 10
33. Dollas n Diamonds - Hey Ocean - IS: 9/10
Dollas! After a not so good start in the past you're back with the same album and ready to give a chance to the game! I really enjoyed your essay!
Essay: 9 | Song: 9
34. collin - M.I.A. - Matangi: 10/10
You barely disappoint anyone. I am not a big fan of hers but I am a fan of yours. I loved your essay, you stated the things that were supposed to be stated.
Essay: 10 | Song: 10
35. Nait Phoenix - Crystal Kay - All Yours: 7,5/10
Cute essay! I think it's so cute to se how much you love Crystal. My only problem is that only half of the challenge was completed... I want to know how this song would guide me to the full album, you know? Cute song!
Essay: 5,5 | Song: 9,5
36. Pablo - Britney Spears - Blackout: 10/10
You better work bitch! You better keep this quality entries until the end and leave the game as the winner.

It's kinda cute. That chorus is a monster. Catchy as it is I don't get why you needed to mention it's the most generic song on the album. If it's not as representative of the album compared to other "non-generic" songs, why would it make me want to listen to the album?
7/10
2. Kyle - The Re-Up (ain't nobody got time for that long ass title.)
I do like the chorus of this. It's laid back but still really catchy. I think Wayne's verse is really gross though. Overall, I think you sent in a good song for this, but your essay is weak in it's details.
7/10
3. MLD - Guilty Pleasure
Wow, I was not expecting this song to bop like this. I like your explanation of it leading you to want to hear more because of its lyrics. Good work.
10/10
4. Sebas - Music
I can only say good job on this one. This song is a great bop and I would like to see what more she has to offer with this album.
9.5/10
5. basicinstinct - Ultraviolence
Okay, this is really boring. I was intrigued in the beginning, but then everything started slurring and sounding too loaded with reverb. To be honest this doesn't make me want more of this album. I'm already not a big fan of Lana and this song just isn't doing anything for me.
4/10
6. Adele Addict - 19
I love this groove. I wasn't expecting to bop like this to an Adele song. Great job.
10/10
7. Supernatural - The New Classic
I think a slightly stronger song would've done you better. It's not bad but not as attention grabbing as say Fancy or Work.
6/10
8. Zune - Overcome
I like this. That chorus drew me in instantly. Only thing is your essay is severely lacking. You gave me a good song, but your explaining needs work.
8/10
9. Girlicious - Paris
Big surprise with this one. This is just pure freaking ear candy. I've never listened to her before but I'm willing to hear more based on this. Alright Paris, you've caught me, what else do you have?
10/10
10. Christian - Youth Novels
The most intriguing part of this song has to be that instrumental. Her voice is kind of off-putting for me, but I'm willing to hear more of her.
9/10
11. Bey-Rihstan - Full Moon
To be honest, it's not doing too much for me. Not the lyrics and certainly not the instrumental. She has a nice voice, but I wasn't really pulled in on this.
4/10
12. Holyground - Paramore
You nailed it. All I can say.
10/10
13. Element - All This Bad Blood
I remember I was completely pulled in as soon I first heard this song. I was grabbed instantly and it became a quick favorite of mine. It's what made me listen to more of their songs so you made the perfect choice here.
10/10
14. SailorMoon - Same Trailer Different Park
This song actually is what made me curious about more of her music. I love her lyricism and the easy flow of this song. Great job.
10/10
15. genetic fail - Sheezus
I like the song and think it's interesting that she decided to name drop the pop girls. Your essay is a little on the weak side though.
8/10
16. dimitrius - Sorry I'm Late
I think you picked the right song for this. We've always known her for being rather immature and obnoxious and this song really shows the opposite. I am very curious as to what else she has to offer with this new sound. Minus a point because the chorus isn't as strong as I'd like.
9/10
17. sumthintoxic82 - Food
This is very catchy and I like that funky beat. My only issue is with you saying it doesn't sound like the rest of the album. Why say this? That isn't going to make me want to listen to the rest of the album which is the point of this challenge. Your song is good, but you need to watch your essays.
5/10
18. Penk - Body Talk
I think you're right on the money. This is my first Robyn song and I would like to hear more of her style with this album.
10/10
19. Lucky#17 - Welcome To The Dollhouse
You would've done so so so much better choosing an actual song for this. An interlude just isn't a strong enough statement to represent a whole album in my opinion, especially not this particular one.
2/10
20. e437 - Glorious
I think this song is really interesting. It has a cool, haunting kind of instrumental, but it's lacking something for me.
7/10
21. Mr. Loco - Goodbye Lullaby
This is the perfect representation of GL. Great job.
10/10
22. Qatari Monster - Believe
I really dislike this song. It's so immature and that breakdown thing is actually irritating. I'm not so big on listening to more of this.
3/10
23. Jake. - Halcyon Days
I don't know why so many are voting you off but I think this song is very catchy, yet interesting and demands attention.
9.5/10
24. CrazyCat - Young Foolish Happy
It's a nice bop. It's not the most attention grabbing song, but I'd like to hear what else Pixie can serve.
8/10
25. Xedretinz Lododnz - Prism
Now sis. This is NOT anywhere near the most attention grabbing song on here. Even if you wanted to go for one of the ballads to showcase you could've chosen Choose Your Battles or It Takes Two.
2/10
26. Era - Good Girl Gone Bad
Great choice. I've always loved this song because it's such a bop, but the lyrics have such a dark almost creepy vibe and I love it. Was one of the reasons I listened to the whole album.
10/10
27. Marooner5 - Happiness
This song is very catchy. I really appreciate the story behind it and the overall moody atmosphere. I'm actually quite interested in hearing more.
10/10
28. I'mRihannaFan - The 20/20 Experience: TCE
I like this sound for him. It's very exotic and is really new for him. Only thing is it's missing something to really bring it to life. It's just a bit bland for me but overall I think it's different enough to draw people in to the album.
*Inner forgot to put the rate, your score was divided only by three.
29. IHype. - Confessions
Perfection. It isn't a modern day classic for nothing and no wonder the album sold so well. Still a great bop.
10/10
30. KingSebert - Animal
It's what started it all. The electro style, ear candy chorus and Kesha's rapping bring this all together to one immense party jam. It's not my favorite song of hers but it's no wonder why people were so interested in her and this album when they came out.
10/10
31. VDK - Trouble
Wow talk about a BOP. I was already on feet moving when that beat came in. I'm excited to hear more from her.
10/10
32. Jax - B'Day
Not a big fan of this song. Their voices don't sound that great together and overall it's a bit lackluster. I think you had better, more interesting songs.
4/10
33. Dollas N Diamonds - IS
I like it. It's very catchy and I indeed moved when that chorus arrived. Definitely want to hear more.
10/10
34. collin - Matangi
Insanely catchy. I've actually been wanting to check out more from her for a while but just never got around to it. Here's your chance to show me what else M.I.A is capable of.
9.5/10
35. Nait Phoenix - All Yours
I agree. I like this and you've got me wanting to see what else Miss Kay can do.
10/10
36. Pablo - Blackout
Nice job explaining this. The direction she went for this album is different for her and this song is quite the showpiece. I've never listened to this album actually so you'll have to prove why it's so acclaimed.
This song is slowly but surely growing on me, but I feel, on first listen, it wouldn't make me want to check out the rest of the album, so it's not as immediately irresistible as it should be. However, your argument makes sense as to why people would like it.
7/10
2. Kyle. - Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded - The Re-Up
Nicki's first verse in the song is great, but I feel like it needs more of her rapping because she's doing a lot of singing, but it's all sounds kind of the same with not a ton of variation in her voice, so it's not really irresistible for me.
This song kind of makes me want to check out the album, but the issue I have with the song is that there's a slight autotune quality in the chorus of the song, which I don't really like at all, especially because I know that Ashley has a voice in her. Regardless, it's still a decent song.
7/10
4. Sebas - Madonna - Music
YES, YES, and YES! This is the perfect song that would make anyone want to check out Madonna's album.
10/10
5. basicinstinct - Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence
Love this pick! It's kind of haunting but still has this thing about it that makes it incredibly alluring and feel intrigued by.
10/10
6. Adele Addict - Adele – 19
Ok, I’ll start off by saying that I love Adele a lot and respect her a lot, but I don’t think this song was the right song to call “irresistible.” My issue is that this song doesn’t really pick up until the bridge. Nevertheless, it’s still a good song.
5/10
7. Supernatural. - Iggy Azalea - The New Classic
I like this entry because you get to see Iggy’s personal side. However, it might not be that irresistible to other people, and I died when I saw that you were shading Fancy, which is the song that you should’ve picked or Work.
7/10
8. Zune - Alexandra Burke – Overcome
Great entry! It’s an uber catchy song that immediately catches my attention on the first listen. My slight (and I do mean slight) is that it’s slightly generic, but I still like it.
9/10
9. Girlicious - Paris Hilton – Paris
I was kind of laughing when I read your entry, calling Paris’ song a pop masterpiece . However, I will say that I liked this entry and can see why people might want to check out the album afterwards because it is a good song.
7/10
10. Cristhian - Lykke Li - Youth Novels
As someone who hasn’t really listened to Lykke Li, this song is actually really interesting and intriguing, and I liked your explanation to the song too! My only thing is that it might take a little time to get used to the song.
8/10
11. Bey_Rihstan - Brandy - Full Moon
When I first started listening to this song, I was thinking why you would’ve picked this song, and then I was shocked that it was really good and a true ballad, so well done with that!
9/10
12. holyground - Paramore – Paramore
YES! YES! YES! This song is absolutely perfect to make people want to check out Paramore’s album.
10/10
13. Element - Bastille - All This Bad Blood
Perfect entry! I thought that you picked the correct song because it made a lot of people want to check out and subsequently buy Bastille’s album.
10/10
14. SailorMoon - Kacey Musgraves - Same Trailer, Different Park
This was a good entry. She has an incredibly simplistic style to her, and I like that, but I kinda wish there was more to her voice.
8/10
15. genetic fail- Lily Allen – Sheezus
Ok, so I love this song, but I think you could’ve picked a different song that catches the audience more like Hard Out Here or even Our Time.
4/10
16. dimitrius - Cher Lloyd - Sorry I'm Late
I think this song, if nothing else has shown to others, proves that Cher can sing well. I like this song a lot, but I wanted slightly a little more from it.
8/10
17. sumthintoxic82 - Kelis – Food
I have to say that Kelis’ vocals are surprisingly ridiculous. I was really impressed by them, but as a song, I just couldn’t really get into it as much as I wanted to.
4/10
18. Penk - Robyn - Body Talk
I love this song! It’s the most irresistible song on the album because it draws you in, and it’s one of my favorite songs of all time, so well done!
10/10
19. Lucky#17 - Danity Kane - Welcome to the Dollhouse
After reading your explanation, I was going to give you a chance with the interlude, but I was thinking that there’d be more singing, rather it was just a lot of talking
2/10
20. e437 - Foxes – Glorious
I’ll preface this by saying that I like Foxes; however, this song is not really irresistible for me. It’s not catching my attention at all and making me want to check out Glorious.
4/10
21. Mr. Loco - Avril Lavigne - Goodbye Lullaby
This song is kind of so so for me. For one, I think the verses are great. My problem is that it’s incredibly repetitive in the chorus, and as much as I understand why you chose it, I wish you picked a song more sentimental or something that is direct (almost in your face like Avril’s Girlfriend, which isn’t on this album, but something in the vein of that).
4/10
22. Qatari Monster - Justin Bieber – Believe
You definitely picked the right track for this round. The production is really good, but the only thing I wish is that your explanation were a little better, but I’m giving you a pass on that because you’re not from a country that speaks English a ton.
8/10
23. Jake. - Ellie Goulding - Halcyon Days
So, point of clarification, this was actually on the rerelease of Halcyon Days as track 5. That being said, this was the perfect song to show the irresistibleness of the album because, as you explained, it has elements of moodiness and EDM.
9/10
24. CrazyCat - Pixie Lott - Young Foolish Happy
This is a great first song to show off Pixie’s ability to make do with a great pop song. My only complaints are that it’s slightly generic, not that I truly mind here, and that your explanation is very winded, especially the fun sentence, so next time, I’d fix that.
9/10
25. Xedretinz Lododnz - Katy Perry – Prism
I was expecting so much more from this entry tbh. I thought that you would go with something like Roar or Dark Horse that catches the audience’s attention. However, as much as you tried to explain it, this song just isn’t irresistible.
3/10
26. Era - Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded
This is a good entry because you picked a song that was intriguing and mysterious that I think would draw the listener in and would make them want to check out the album. However, sometimes, I feel like this song is kind of meh for me, and at other times, it’s really good.
8/10
27. Marooner5 - Hurts – Happiness
I think this was an interesting pick. On the one hand, there’s this really intriguing sound in the song, and the lyrics are really good too. On the other hand, there’s not really any vocal variation in the song, and I’m not sure if that helps the song or hinders it. However, well done on your mini essay!
7/10
28. I'mRihannaFan - Justin Timberlake - The 20/20 Experience - The Complete Experience
I’m not sure if this was the best track to pick for this first round. As enticing as that beat is, it’s kind of a let down of a song lyrically speaking.
6/10
29. iHype. - Usher – Confessions
You picked a classic for sure, but it was the perfect choice because it’s incredibly upbeat and gets the crowd going. However, I’m unsure if a song is truly considered “irresistible” if it did really well on the charts. Sometimes, the song can just be really good.
9/10
30. KingSebert - Ke$ha – Animal
I figured that this song would be picked, but it was the right song for you. The beat, along with the catchy lyrics, makes for a great pop song. My only complaint is that your essay is way too vague/kinda short. Also, you’re banned, so I have no idea when you’re going to be back.
8/10
31. VDK - Natalia Kills – TROUBLE
Well, DAMN. This Natalia Kills person is pretty good. I loved the beat in the song, and the lyrics were really good. My small complaint is that the problem part’s a little too repetitive. However, your entry is 9 lines when you compile it all together in one fluid form, so it passes the limit…
8/10
32. Jax - Beyoncé - B'Day
Ok, truth be told, I love this song. However, I’m not sure if it was the smartest pick for this round. I feel like you probably should have went for something that showcased Bey in a solo role with some intense vocalization, and quite honestly, this song isn’t as irresistible as it probably could be.
6/10
33. Dollas n Diamonds - Hey Ocean – IS
This was a great introduction to a band that I’ve never heard up. They kinda remind me of HAIM tbh, but it’s fine. The song was great and incredibly infections. My only issue was that your essay was really lackluster. I’m kind of a grammar freak, so if you’re going to quote a song, please actually put the quote in quotations, and as the reader, I have no clue who Ashleigh is (although I’m assuming it’s the lead singer), so please make sure that you specify in your essay.
8/10
34. Collin - M.I.A. – Matangi
This is an interesting pick. The chorus is incredibly catchy, but the verses are really up and down for me because I feel like some are really good and some aren’t as good as it could be, but your essay was pretty good.
7/10
35. Nait Phoenix - Crystal Kay - All Yours
Alright, so I’m not really the biggest fan of J-Pop. However, the beat in this song was really good and got me grooving for a bit. I just wish that the song just had more to it. It kinda falls flat and doesn’t really grab me like I would want it too, and that’s a big deal.
6/10
36. Pablo - Britney Spears – Blackout
Interesting choice. This song has a cool beat to it and a great chorus. The verses could be a little better though, so it’s kind of irresistible, but it’s not quite there for me yet.
7/10

I listened to this album just one time on Spotify and hated it, but this song was the one that stood out for me. It’s probably the best song on the album, so good choice.
2. Kyle. - Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded - The Re-Up: High School (feat. Lil' Wayne) – 6/10
I’m not a big fan of this song, but I see what you tried to do: pick a song that would make Nicki’s both pop and hip-hop fans want to listen to the album, since she does music for both of them on the record. I believe “I’m Legit” or “The Boys” would’ve been a better choice for that, since I don’t think High School’s chorus is pop enough to make fans of Super Bass and Starships give the album a chance.
3. MusicLoverDude - Ashley Tisdale - Guilty Pleasure: Acting Out – 10/10
Flawless choice! Great song and definitely one of the best on the album! It was my jam back in the day!
4. Sebas - Madonna - Music: Music – 10/10
That’s exactly what I was expecting, you couldn’t have chosen a better song to introduce the album to everyone! It’s not only the best song to make people give the album a chance, but one of her best songs to date!
5. basicinstinct - Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence: West Coast – 6/10
I’ve only listened to this album one time and I didn’t like it at all, all of the songs sounded like the same to me, I’m still planning to give a second chance tho. Anyway, you say in your essay that “different than her previous material, this song will catch the attention of both Lana's fans and new listeners”… well it didn’t catch my attention, when I heard it for the first time all I could think of is how inferior than her previous singles it was. That being said, it’s still one of the few enjoyable songs on the album, so I’ll give you points for that.
6. Adele Addict - Adele - 19: Right As Rain – 8/10
I like the song, and after reading your essay I kinda understand why you chose that, even though I would’ve opted to go with something like Daydreamer or Hometown Glory, or even the obvious choices: Chasing Pavements and Make You Feel My Love.
7. Supernatural. - Iggy Azalea - The New Classic: Walk The Line – 5/10
I really like this song, but I don’t get why you chose it for this round. I think Change Your Life, Fancy, Work, New Bitch, Goddess or Black Widow would have been a better fit for the challenge. You also could’ve done better in your essay, this round is not about showing a different side of your artist, it’s about choosing a song that would make everyone want to listen to the whole album and I don’t think Walk The Line would be able to do that. I’m so sorry to give you a bad rate, it’s one of my favorite albums of the year.
8. Zune - Alexandra Burke - Overcome: Bad Boys (feat. Flo-Rida) – 10/10
Amazing choice! That song made me want to listen to Alexandra’s album back in the day. It’s nice to bop to this song again, long time I don’t listen to it.
9. Girlicious - Paris Hilton - Paris: Nothing In This World – 4/10
You must be trying to sabotage yourself with this poor essay + saying Paris is showing off her vocals in this song full of autotune. The song itself is good, but your essay just ruins everything.
10. Cristhian - Lykke Li - Youth Novels: Dance Dance Dance 3/10
First album I don’t know, so I can’t what would have a better choice, but what I can say is that this song is really weird and does not make me want to go check her album.
11. Bey_Rihstan - Brandy - Full Moon: When You Touch Me – 3/10
Another album I don’t know, and this song doesn't make me want to know it. It's sooo boring and has almost 6 mins, 3:30 would’ve been enough. It gets better in the end with the high notes and everything, but at this point I just wanted it to end.
12. holyground - Paramore - Paramore: Ain't It Fun – 10/10
I love this song, good choice. I never checked this album because I never liked their albums other than the singles, but I think this song can make people want to listen to the whole thing.
13. Element - Bastille - All This Bad Blood: Pompeii – 10/10
I love this song and it made me go listen to the whole album, so you couldn’t have made a better choice for this challenge.
14. SailorMoon - Kacey Musgraves - Same Trailer, Different Park: Follow Your Arrow - 8/10
This is the first song I hear from Kacey, I really liked the lyrics and the song itself is cute. I wasn’t sure if it was strong enough to make people go check her album, but I pressed the repeat button as soon as the song finished, so I guess it has something addictive to it. Your essay could’ve been better tho.
15. genetic fail- Lily Allen - Sheezus: Sheezus – 9/10
Perfect song choice, the lyrics and production are perfect to get people curious about the whole album. The essay could’ve been a little better tho, that’s why I’m not giving you 10.
16. dimitrius - Cher Lloyd - Sorry I'm Late: Sirens – 10/10
Best song on the album, great choice! It’s catchy, her vocals are on point, definitely the perfect song for this round. Great essay too.
17. sumthintoxic82 - Kelis - Food: Cobbler – 3/10 at the conversation in portuguese in the beginning of the song. This song didn’t make me want to go check Kelis’ album, it’s weak and has nothing interesting about it.
18. Penk - Robyn - Body Talk: Dancing On My Own - 10/10
That’s the song that made me download this album a few years ago! Amazing choice, and you did well in your essay too!
19. Lucky#17 - Danity Kane - Welcome to the Dollhouse: Picture This - 1/10
What is this? This interlude ain’t making no one want to listen to the album. You had Damaged, Bad Girl and Poetry, I don’t get why you chose this. Plus, you didn’t respect the 7 lines rule in your essay. A mess, probably the worst entry in the history of this game.
20. e437 - Foxes - Glorious: Talking To Ghosts – 6/10
I’m not familiar with Foxes’ album, but I’ve heard 2 songs from it (Let Go For Tonight and Glorious), and both are better than this one, so you had better options. It’s not that Talking To Ghosts is bad, but it’s a bit weird and unconventional to make people want to go check the album.
21. Mr. Loco - Avril Lavigne - Goodbye Lullaby: Wish You Were Here - 10/10
My favorite song of the album, and I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like it, so great choice!
22. Qatari Monster - Justin Bieber - Believe: Beauty and a Beat (feat. Nicki Minaj) – 9/10
You had a lot of options for this round: Boyfriend, All Around The World, As Long As You Love Me and Beauty and a Beast. I would’ve given you 10 for any of them, all are equally catchy and irresistible. I didn’t do it because your essay isn’t as good as your song choice.
23. Jake. - Ellie Goulding - Halcyon Days: Figure 8 – 10/10
I LOVE this song, it’s so catchy and irresistible indeed. I loved that you said in your essay how this song represents both Halcyon and Halcyon Days. At first I thought “why he didn’t choose Burn? I’ll give him 9, because there was an even better choice”, but your essay sold it to me!
24. CrazyCat - Pixie Lott - Young Foolish Happy: All About Tonight – 9/10
You couldn’t have chosen better, this song is so catchy! I love it and am dancing to it right now! I’m not giving you 10 because your essay could’ve been better.
25. Xedretinz Lododnz - Katy Perry - Prism: Double Rainbow – 5/10
I like Double Rainbow and I get what you’re saying in your essay, but I don’t think the lyrics are enough to make a song irresistible. Roar, Dark Horse, Walking On Air and Legendary Lovers are all better songs to make everyone want to listen to the whole album.
26. Era - Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded: Disturbia – 10/10
Flawless song, great essay! I have nothing more to say!
27. Marooner5 - Hurts - Happiness: Wonderful Life – 10/10
OMG this song is soooo good! I loved everything about it: the lyrics, the production, the haunting/dark vibe of it, the music video… It definitely made me want to go check the whole album, can’t wait for your next entries to see what else this album has to offer!
28. I'mRihannaFan - Justin Timberlake - The 20/20 Experience - The Complete Experience: Don't Hold The Wall – 6/10
As much as I like Don’t Hold The Wall, I don’t think it’s the right choice for this round, “Suit & Tie”, “Mirrors”, “True Blood” or “TKO” would've been a better fit for the challenge. I love this album so much, it hurts me not to give you a good rate.
29. iHype. - Usher - Confessions: Yeah! (feat. Lil' Jone and Ludacris) – 10/10
Never heard this album, but I highly doubt there’s something more irresistible than “Yeah!” in it. It was my jam back in 2004, great choice!
30. KingSebert - Ke$ha - Animal: TiK ToK – 10/10
Perfect choice, Your Love Is My Drug and Take It Off would’ve gone well with this round too. That’s the song that made me and the rest of the world buy Ke$ha’s album, irresistible indeed. And I liked how your essay is short, but straight to the point.
31. VDK - Natalia Kills - Trouble: Problem – 9/10
This song is really good, I liked it! Your essay sold it perfectly, my only problem () here is you didn’t respect the 7 lines rule, so that’s why I’m not giving you 10.
32. Jax - Beyoncé - B'Day: Beautiful Liar (feat. Shakira) – 7/10
I would’ve chosen Deja Vu, Freakum Dress or Irreplaceable for this round, but Beautiful Liar is also catchy and capable to make people want to check the album, since it reunites two global superstars. The problem is your essay, you kept saying how successful the song was but didn’t say why this is irresistible and capable to make everyone want to buy the album. Plus, you exaggerated a little, Beyoncé and Shakira have bigger hits that are more remembered than Beautiful Liar.
33. Dollas n Diamonds - Hey Ocean - IS: Make a New Dance Up – 6/10
Nice song, but didn’t make me wanna listen to the whole album.
34. collin - M.I.A. - Matangi: Bad Girls – 8/10
M.I.A. isn’t my cup of tea, but I liked this song and I see how it can be irresistible. You could’ve done better in your essay tho.
35. Nait Phoenix - Crystal Kay - All Yours: Dream World – 2/10
At first I was like “WTF is she singing?”, then I realized it’s j-pop. This song sounds like a mess to me, the mix of rhythms, the english and japanase singing… it just didn’t work and I definitely don’t want to listen to her album after hearing it.
36. Pablo - Britney Spears - Blackout: Break The Ice – 10/10
As a Britney stan, I had high expectations for your entry, and you didn’t disappoint me. Break The Ice is the exact song I thought you should send as soon as I read the challenge. Catchy, irresistible, one of Britney’s best songs. Also, I loved how you made a connection between the lyrics and the challenge in your essay. Great job.
Pedro you took points because you thought I didn't say on why it was irresistible. That whole paragraph was. The impact, chart positions, etc is backing my statement on how it was irresistible to the public...
