I'll talk to you, I'm starting to love Leavin' which is weird because I usually don't like this type of music.

Hey there everyone, wsup?? I'm Cam'rox. the guy who composed and produced the "Leavin' (Cam'rox Remix)". I'm a music producer/composer [on the rise] and i've come to shed some light on the whole Leavin' remixes situation.

Most of them, including my own, are entries to a contest held by Jesse's label Hollywood Records. The contest was only pitched to a certain group of up-and-coming music producers/composers such as myself. Here's how it works: They sent us all the acapella track from the song (vocals only) and each of us were to create new music to go with it. There are to be two winners. The grand prize winner to be chosen by Jesse and the label. The runner-up will be voted on by fans from a top 10 chosen by the label. the top 10 remixes will be posted on Jesse's official site in a little music player. the grand prize winner wil be promoted on Jesse's official site and their remix will get official push from Hollywood Records themselves. We are still awaiting results.

So there are alot more remixes than the ones u've found. Its just that only a handful of us have chosen to push ours.
I am very flattered that my own remix has already gained some popularity around the net =] I've been trying to promote it in an effort to get a leg up on the competition haha. There are lots of great entries and I wish them all the best of luck.

When did you become into the DJ business? And what inspired you to become one?

haha yes i am a DJ and a producer. I got my start in music production at a very young age. I was in the 5th grade. 11 yrs young haha. i started DJing in 8th grade. I'm just now finally starting to get my foot in the door of the music industry, however. I will be a freshman in college next semester. I'm graduating high school this year. As far as inspiration goes, I've always been a musician. Piano is my main instrument and i've been playing in bands and jazz combos for awhile.


about the acoustic version, im sry i dont have it. the only time I ever heard it was when it was done live on the air at a radio station. and that's on YouTube I believe. but i dont have an mp3, tho i'm sure its out there somewhere. i got ur friend request by the way

I have another question for you. Out of all the remixes that were done, which ones are your favorites? And are the Club Remixes official? (Like Bimbo Jones for example) or are those part of this contest? Cause those are done really well and their like 8 minutes around.
