It's having an old-school like chart-run and climbing up the charts all the way to the top. Many albums had this type of chart-run before the industry became almost exclusively focused on first-week sales.
It also had a lovely discount on itunes. It and a lot of other albums, were sold for $6.99 last week. That's one of the reasons it orginally got to number 1 and now it's enjoying the exposure the sale brought. IMO.
For one the $6.99 discount that ended at midnight. It caused it to rise to the top of the iTunes chart. And the film is proving to be very popular. It has impressive longevity at the box office.
