⚫ This album cemented my likeness for this artist! Far more better than her debut which is not bad I say, well that one was an album full of covers! But then, this showed how much more talented and artistry that is a bit tad missing from her previous effort! Aside from its production, I think its the impeccable vocals she deliver makes this album a worthy of a listen! One of the albums that definitely lives up to its title! Birdy's got that 'fire within' her now

⚫ While the song didn't grab me much on a few first listens, it kinda grew on me on the succeeding plays when it was made a single! Now I think, it's one of their best singles yet and it was one of the highlights off the album! The vocals on the verses are a show that Hayley can be as versatile as she wants with her vocals! The chorus is really strong plus the video is very fun and therefore, couldn't be more perfect to accompany this song's energetic, bubbly feel!

⚫ My ULTIMATE GROWER song off 2013! I just don't know why though! It lingered itself on the lower half off the countdown for 15 weeks already and it hasn't peaked yet! Maybe will crossover of 2014's Best of! The combination of country folk, with EDM production and that soulful vocals courtesy of Aloe Blacc was a surprise listen for me! Imo, it deserved to smash all around the world, and that instrumental hook was definitely the highlight of the song! Monster smash I agree!

⚫ Kendrick was one of my favorite new rappers for the past year so far, and this lead single of him was just a perfect introduction for the rap scene! The dark aura of the song that tackles about alcoholism really hooked me upon, especially with his flow throughout the song specifically where he raps about the part of 'his conscience' speaking to him up! What propelled the song to #1 is definitely my power rotation of back to back versions of this and "Mutya Keisha Siobhan's version which is outstanding as well!
