10. Forever Halloween-The Maine
June 4, 2013

The Maine released two records last year, an EP and this full-length record, both of which were amazing. There's a sense of maturity that is felt in the song's themes but they don't lose their identity. I love seeing this band live, in fact, I just saw them 2 weeks ago when they had a show here along with another act that's coming up in the list in a while.
9. Devil-Lydia

This album is the first album that I've heard in full from this band. I've always heard about them since they're good friends with The Maine and they have been on tour together. So when they released their latest album, I checked them out and what a surprise. I fell in love in an instant. The laid back vocals and melody is very soothing and a thing of beauty.
8. The Other Side-Tonight Alive
Sept. 6, 2013

This female fronted band's first album was a masterpiece from start to end and I didn't know if they could top or repeat it with their next releases. I saw them live last year where they performed some new songs which were promising The album finally came out and I was blown away. It was even better than the first one. Jenna's vocals were astounding and they were more personal in this album but there are still some tracks that will let you keep your energy high. The best album with female vocals of 2013.
7. Biography Of Heartbreak-This Century
May 14, 2013

I admit that I may have placed this too high but after seeing them again for the nth time 2 weeks ago, I have no doubt that they deserve a high spot. Just like The Maine, whom they are really close with, they can make tunes that gets stuck to my head. I was a little disappointed with their previous album, not because of the quality of the songs but because it only had 8 tracks so I was very happy when the latest album had a lot and none of them were fillers. It's one of the best thing when you're not signed to a major label.
6. The 1975-The 1975
Sept. 2, 2013

This band has been one of my favorite discoveries last year. After teasing us with 4 different Eps, they finally released a full length album which offers a lot of memorable tracks. The songs certainly boasts of well written lyrics and Matt Healy's voice sounds so good. They may have touched on issues like sex and violence on their songs but it doesn't sound too cheesy and non-preachy. I may see them live when they go here in my country in March and I can't wait!
Top 5 is coming up next! Any guesses?

Clue: 4/5 of the albums have songs that have already appeared on the songs chart including the latest update
