Another that is done. Like I always do, time to comment on the ones I missed, The links will see where I left off.
Ellie’s vocals sound good with the EDM music as she lights it up and ready to burn, burn! Like the dramatic sound found in TBC and the video is impressive. Both song and video tells a great story. Unconditionally is a fine pop song to like and for pop radio to eat up. That’s their unconditionally love for Katy. I do like Young Volcanoes and really like the direction of the vocals in the City of Angels.
Ok. This is the important top 50 then. Being Brave Together is such a catchy and inspiring song. Man, what an ID-style song American Authors did. Best Day of My Life is such a wonderful song and so catchy. Holding on to you is all-around good with the catchy sound and the rap parts are also good. They made the song so fun.
Endlessly is so nice sounding, Girls/Boys/Girls sound so good and my fav from the album. Locked Out of Heaven is great and feels so good, Pompeii has an epic sound, eh eh eh. Say Something I’m giving up on you is very wonderful.
Zedd/Foxes does well to give some nice Clarity, Up in the Air is so good, liked the throwback style of Treasure! Love Somebody is good. Here With Me is getting some love in these Best ofs.
Daydreaming is ok, not good though. Sail! A 2011 song is a main highlight is just crazy and it happened and glad this is the song that reach its own kind of success. TKO sounds good in the album. WYOCMWYH? Is here and this high? Outstanding. Try is still good in 2013 that I liked during the early parts in the year.
Ehh I would give this next a set a perfect song, but Anklebiters is also a Paramore song that I don’t like a lot. Really like Wake Me Up & When I Was Your Man. Holy Grail is good and live for the applause is decent.
Thrift Shop is one of the best from 2013, like Daylight and Let Her Go, The Phoenix is my fav FOB song of the year, and If I Lose Myself is such a wonderful grower.
Ho Hey still strong in 2013, On Top of the World in the top 20 is the best part so far, Blurred Lines is one of the best from 2013. A jam that is. Now is so boring and uninteresting. Suit & Tie is nice.
Can’t Hold Us is such a jam and fun song to party to. Speaking of fun, Why Am I The One? Is a good song,
Get Lucky is one of the best from 2013. What a great jam that is. I like Miss Jackson for all of her troubles, & The Other Side is nice.
Top 10! Glad that Demons made it into the top 10. Stay The Night is a grower. Mirrors is amazing, This Is Gospel is another good one from the album, My Songs is an underwhelming grower, but not bad. Carry On is good. Counting Stars is amazing and JGMAR is such a great song and pop ballad. Good work by those two. Still into you’s poppier sound rubs me in the wrong way. Radioactive an epic #1. Great decision. I feel it deep into my bones and I’m waking up to the new age. Radioactive! Radioactive!
Your albums list. Like Prism, ARTPOP, & Heartthrob from on deck and like the singles from Vessel and certain songs from Yeezus. MML2 is a great album and just a good taste of Em’s return to prominence after his recovery. Yes, only moving forward and I can feel he can male an even better album. Maybe better than MML. Bad Blood revels such an outstanding sound. Yeah, make the good use of 30STM’s new sound and their album, which I liked. RAM is just great and like those fav tracks. Liked the singles from Native and must hear the album. Liked listening to the sound of 20/20, agreed that Save Rock & Roll is just a re-brand of their rock sound. Not really liked Paramore’s album, but it was nice try. Panic!’s album does keep the weirdness going. Like some of the songs in their album. Not bad. Not my fav from 2013, but still alright.
Overall great countdown with such amazing music that I liked so much. Good job on your best of. It was good and one of my favs. Feels good to get it done huh?
