Well..... I finally started watching this. It's a tragic mess. It has all the components to be at least GOOD, but the acting is atrocious.
The kid who plays Noah (the geek) is the absolute worst. His constant monologues and narration are scene-ruining. Bex Taylor Klaus was horrendous in Arrow and she's the same here. Emma is the definition of basic bitch. And all the characters are just the most cliched stereotypes...... the jock, the loner, the bitch.
I'll keep watching in the hopes of seeing Noah, Audrey, Will, and Emma die, I guess.

Have you watched the second and third episodes? Those were much better than the pilot in my opinion. The acting stays terrible though, but it's an MTV show so it's to be expected.
The best acting you'll find on MTV is in their reality shows.

I just watched the second ep and it was much better. The fake suicide and Emma's phone call were both STELLAR, by far the two best (and scariest scenes) thus far. I finally see some potential in Emma as the inevitable "final girl."
I still hate most of the characters/actors though. I like Brooke and Riley, Jake makes me laugh and..... that's about it.
Ok I think I can now say that I really enjoy the show.
I was so sad xxx died, wish they would have waited an epsidoe or two longer.
Is it really true we won't find out who the killer is this season?! please no. I want every season to have its own story kinda. Or at least an end. I mean there are not THAT many people left to kill one every week. How could they continue with the next season?
This show has been getting better each episode. I do wish the deaths become more drawn out (they got it right with
Riley
imo). As a HUGE fan of the films since the first one was released, I'm pretty happy with this.
I really liked this show, but then I watched the movies and saw how bad it is compared to them. It's still enjoyable but the characters are terrible. I couldn't care less that
Riley
died Noah is just an annoying version of Randy, I hope he gets killed.
Brooke, Emma and Jake are my favorite I guess.

The writers have said that they are aiming for a "Cotton Weary" type of reveal in which the character that is revealed to be the killer turns to be a red herring and the real killer is still out there. If the show doesn't get renewed it's going to be a inconclusive mess from what they've said about the finale.
Omg, I am getting so into this. It's like a more toned down version of AHS.
I wish they'd of killed
Brooke of last episode instead of Riley.
I think the killer is that teacher who Brooke is 'dating' or whatever. It'd be too obvious to be the two friends who buried money in the forest, IMO.
