NOBTR is one of the strongest demos I've heard. No, she didn't write it but every single song she ever writes doesn't HAVE to be written BY her. It's one track and she clearly loves it. It's not as if she's just singing other peoples songs all the time so it's not a problem. Once this song has full production and is perfected it could slay tbh. I don't think it's neccisary to flip your **** because she isn't the main writer of the song. Some of the best, most highly-acclaimed songs in Pop history weren't mainly written by the performer. Elvis' entire discogrophy, for example. It's good that Gaga writes the majority of her music, but others writing for her was bound the happen eventually. It's not the end of the world.

That said, I'm here for UrbanGa's return. Pink and Gaga can slay us with Urban Pop vocals in 2012.

My favorite part about the 2 year old demo argument is that if it didn't leak, we wouldn't have known it was a 2 year old demo at all if we heard it on the next album. Does it really matter? A good song is good regardless of when it was written.

When people say they want 'Fame' Gaga back, they mean less serious, less preachy, and fun music like Paparazzi and Bad Romance. They don't mean rehashing the entire The Fame album. I thought that would be obvious, since everyone here trashes The Fame. This whole 'Gaga doesn't go backwards!' thing has been done to death. No one is saying she should re-do something already done. And Born This Way was far from flawless. It's not as bad as some people say, but lets not go there.

The Fame definitely had its strong songs, then it had it's weaker ones..just like SHICD and Monster on TFM.

I have to say, I would be pretty disappointed if Gaga did start using songs that she didn't write.. I just think that was one of the main things (earlier on) that set her apart from other pop stars (at that time).

But just because she isn't writing EVERY single song and makes ONE choice to use ONE sing she hasn't written... that doesn't automatically mean she can't think for herself and it certainly doesn't mean she isn't smart. She used to/still does write songs for other people so why would she slam anyone who uses another person song? She clearly would have no problem with using one track written by someone else. Okay, if the whole album was written by someone else then fair enough but come on xD

Definetely not an old as f--- song for first single, and if that were the case NO(BTR) would still be a better choice
