What do film opportunities mean if you can't actually act?
Janet's performance in Good Times is better than any of Beyonce's "acting".
Beyonce's role in Cadillac Records got her critical acclaim, including a compliment from THE Meryl Streep.
And B's "acting" has gotten her far enough to work on a remake of an iconic movie with an iconic director. Janet?
Exactly. She did the exact opposite so people WOULDN'T come to that conclusion. She even refused to duet with Michael when he wanted to do one with her around the late 80s because she didn't want people to think she was riding his coattails. After the success of 'janet.' she felt better about it, which brought us Scream.
Janet did a lot of things before Michael too (knee pads, black panther, etc).
One of the few logical posts I've seen in here, you know the tea.

This is laughable and irrelevant and it makes me question the intelligence of every Beyonce fan who brings up Grammys (which is always a predictable move) -- the Grammys has changed DRASTICALLY compared to how it was years ago, some stars on that list even boycotted the Grammys, Madonna being one of them. Having more Grammys doesn't make said artist better than another artist by any means.

Oh I see...the degrade Beyonce's accomplishments move..huh? Ok, I can roll with it.
Grammy's are awarded in their respective times to their respective artists. You can sit there and bitch about how *fill in name of iconic musician* doesn't have as many so they're not as valid, but you'd be off base failing to realize that those Grammy wins represent the best out of the competing group. Maybe Queen just had too much good competition...can you blame Bey for that? No. Her 16 Grammy's goes to show that she's making some of the best quality music out of this generation of musicians. That's why they're so profound whether they were awarded in the 1970's or now.
With the release of two albums in the 90s, with a total of about 18 charted songs, Janet was #2 on the 90s decade end charts. With the release of three albums, with a total of about 21 charted songs, Beyonce was #4 on the 00s decade end charts.
Charts don't make you an icon, so let's just move on from that.
I mean if Janet only sold because of Michael, why didn't Solange go multi-platinum?
Does it only apply to the Jacksons?
Well, Janet's first two albums failed to do anything just like Solo's, maybe on the 3rd record? There's also the fact that as artists her & Beyoncé are incredibly different while Janet & Michael were incredibly similar.

finally some1 with some research , receipts, and reason
Janet is also the only performer (male or female) to be nominated for Grammy Awards in Pop, Rock, Dance, Rap and R&B, and the first female recording artist of color to be nominated for a Producer Of The Year Grammy.
