This is seriously competing with Papparazzi to be my favorite Gaga video. Papparazzi has more visual variation but the cintematography of BTW is just so crisp and clean.... And i live for the beetlejuice scenes, especially the one where she continuously whips her hair. The tuxedo with the shoulder pads, pink ponyesque ponytail, the skeletal make-up = BRILLIANT...
Mash the imagery, sound, moves and storyline from Madonna, David Bowie, Fever Ray, MJ, and Janelle Monae - and unicorns from Ke$ha - with huge production values, you get yourself a mess like this. Had to listen to the song for second time She's ugly in a cute and healthy way though
Yes
And I don't think there's any correlation between the gap in her teeth and the theme of this song that is called BORN THIS WAY. Gaga was just desperate to copy Madonna in as many ways as possible
Girl. I hope you're being sarcastic; if not, you're looking a bit silly.
Poor Telephone gets no love! I think it is good, just not commericially. Too choppy. If I wasn't a fan I'd get very impatient. A lot of my friends complain about the short sequences. The video would have worked better with a video anthropology (sp?) ala Beyonce.
The concept is amazing. It might be way over the top, but this is why we love her. She isn't the best dancer in the world but I love that she doesn't care, she just goes for it and gives it her all. Crazy weird video but I love it nonetheless. Well done Gaga, continue with your domination
My favorite Gaga video. The visuals are stunning; the many references are genius. No shade intended here: I genuinely feel bad for people that aren't enjoying this, because I think it's absolutely brilliant.
SOME PEOPLE (especially in AMERICA) hate her video BECAUSE OF THE "GIVING BIRTH SCENE" WHICH IS TOO RAW FOR YOUNG CATHOLIC AND BAPTIST AND ESPECIALLY THOSE PROTESTANTS & REPUBLICAN PEOPLE.
