Pink isn't the most talked-about artist on ATRL, but she's easily one of the most talented and widely-respected. Morphing from R&B also-ran to acclaimed pop-rock superstar on 2001's Missundaztood, she has been a consistently entertaining and wholly original force on the contemporary music scene. After flopping hard with 2003 follow-up Try This!, it looked as though her career may be over. But the last few years have beheld a triumphant comeback for Pink, marked by platinum sales and #1 hits -- and cemented by her sure-to-be legendary Grammy performance of "Glitter in the Air" in 2010.
Essential track: intensely personal "Don't Let Me Get Me" introduced the world to a new side of Pink and took her to #1 on the pop charts for the first time
Pink is amazing! While, everyone was talking about Gaga's performance at The VMAS, I was so impressed with Pink singing LIVE 100% and flying in the air! TRUE INTERNATIONAL PERFORMER.
