44. Christina Aguilera “You Lost Me”
“Oh, I feel like our world's been infected and somehow you left me neglected. We've found our lives been changed, cause babe, you lost me.”
Christina Aguilera makes her first appearance in my list with the heart-whelming ballad for You Lost Me. This song is Christina at her best voice, such a powerful song expressing regret and hurt. I can really feel the meaning of the song whenever I hear this and Christina perfectly delivered each line of the song. Even though majority would say that this is one of her best ballads, it did not quite receive the equal success like what her previous hits did. I don't know, maybe 2010 is not Christina Aguilera's year for music, her album is one of the best but it sadly flopped due to poor sales. Despite that, this song will add to one of Christina's great ballads. Hands down!
43. Adam Lambert “For Your Entertainment”
“It’s alright you’ll be fine baby, I’m in control. Take the pain take the pleasure, I’m the master of both.”
American Idol Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert is next on the list with the first single from the same title track debut album For Your Entertainment. Glambert somehow amused me early last year with his debut album and this song is a great first single to start his career. For Your Entertainment is such a good tune that makes you wanna dance and flirt with someone. Adam gave an entertaining video for this one as what the song suggest as he plays with snakes in one of the scenes. Good way to attract seduction. Expect a couple of songs from him in the next updates.
42. David Archuleta “Something 'Bout Love”
“Every night it’s all the same, you’re frozen by the phone you wait something’s changed. You blame yourself every day you’d do it again...”
Prior to Adam Lambert is Season 7 runnrer-up David Archuleta with his latest effort for Something 'Bout Love. Sadly, Archie only manage to chart this high compared to his A Little Too Not Over You position which sells for a top 10 position. To be honest, I much prefer some of his previous hits compared to now, but even so, Something Bout Love is also one of his smash hit for this year, thanks to fans who always request his songs in the radios. And this help me to slowly like the song until I finally learned to like it more. Let see if David Archuleta can manage to give us more hits this year with his new album.
